Abhimanyu woke to the soft rays of the early morning sun streaming through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. He blinked slowly, his mind gradually coming to consciousness. The first thing he noticed was the small, warm weight against his side.

He glanced down and saw Avyansh sleeping peacefully, his small body curled up close to him, a content smile on his face.

A soft, almost smile tugged at his lips.seeing the boy like this, free of fear, lost in a peaceful dream, stirred something deep within him. He wanted to see the boy smile like this always.

Careful not to disturb Avyansh, Abhimanyu slowly slid out of bed. He moved quietly,
heading to the bathroom to take a shower. The hot water washed away the lingering tension from the previous night, but the image of Avyansh's peaceful face stayed with him, bringing an unexpected sense of calm.

When he returned to the room, a towel draped over his shoulders, Abhimanyu found Avyansh stirring. The boy blinked sleepily, taking a moment to realize where he was. As the memories of the night before came back, a soft smile spread across his face.

He hadn't had any nightmares for the first time in so long. Instead, he had dreamed of something beautiful, though the details were already fading from his mind.

"Morning," Abhimanyu greeted, his voice soft.

"Morning, Bhaiya," Avyansh replied, still feeling the warmth of that peaceful sleep.

"Did you sleep well" abhimanyu asked.

Avyansh nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Yes, Bhaiya.

"Good"

"Now You should go and freshen up,We'll have breakfast soon."

Avyansh nodded obediently, sliding out of bed and heading towards his bedroom. As he walked away, Abhimanyu couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment settle over him. It was a rare feeling for someone like him, someone who had spent so long building walls around his heart. But with Avyansh, those walls seemed to crumble a little more each day.

Downstairs, Adhya was already up, a stack of books spread out on the kitchen table. Her brow was furrowed in concentration as she flipped through pages, occasionally muttering to herself.

Abhimanyu entered the kitchen, "Morning," he said in a neutral tone

Adhya glanced up, her irritation evident. "Morning, Mr.rajput. What do you want?"

Abhimanyu walked over to the counter and started making coffee. "Just checking to see if you've started studying .

Adhya let out an exaggerated sigh, leaning back in her chair. "Of course I've started
studying! I've got exams coming up, and you're not helping by hovering like a helicopter."

"I'm not hovering," Abhimanyu replied calmly, pouring himself a cup of coffee. "I'm
making sure you're focused."

Adhya rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. "I'm focused, alright? You don't need to keep
reminding me."

Abhimanyu sipped his coffee, unruffled by her attitude. "Just doing my job."

Adhya groaned, rubbing her temples. "I swear, you're worse than my professors. At least they don't follow me around the house."

"I'm not following you, I'm simply here."

Adhya threw her hands up in exasperation. "Yes, here, where I'm trying to study! You're like a looming shadow of responsibility."

Before Abhimanyu could respond, Avyansh entered the kitchen, freshly washed and looking more awake.

He paused at the door, sensing the bickering tension in the air.
