Spy School Project X

Chapter 7

A/N:Yesterday chapter was really short, so my goal for this one is 700-800 words.

Ben's POV:

When we arrived, everyone was captured and all was left were just Mike's transmitter and a few broken laptops. Me and Erica were so shocked, and I told Erica, ' H..hey Erica, if Cyrus and the gang got captured.. They must be really strong...'

Erica's POV:

I answered, ' Yeah.. They must be. But we cant give up, let's look for clues. I'll try to hack that computer and you look for some clues Cyrus might have left.' I turned on the computer and a video popped up, I called Ben over and warily pressed 'Start'. The video showed a torture device in front of Cyrus and the others. Joshua stepped in front of the camera and snarled, ' Hello there, Ben and Erica. You see your little friends over there? If you don't want then to get hurt, better sacrifice one of you and we wont hurt them. I will give you exactly 5 hrs to discuss , meet us at the back door.' I gasped and said, ' None of us are sacrificing themselves and we can save them. Let's book a hotel room and recharge ourselves before fighting.'

*time skip* ( because im powerful :D)

Ben's POV:

After a few hours, we woke up and took a cab back to the laundromat, we walked towards the back door. And waited until the time was up. Suddenly I got grabbed in by a masked man, I struggled and kicked, but I just couldn't get pit of his grasp. I thought to myself, ' After escaping from missiles, avalanches, bombs... Is this how I die?' I shook my head to clear my thoughts and quickly signalled Erica to leave.

I watched Erica unwillingly left and occasionally looking back as I thought about the terrible things they would do to me. I tried to memorise the pathways, but that thought didn't last long as i got knocked out the very next second.

Erica's POV:

I watched as Ben got taken away, I felt... helpless, not knowing what to do next. Then i remembered they said if we sacrificed one of us they will release the others. I ran back to the front door and cautiously entered. I saw them and was relieved, I filled them in on what happened and they told me what they found out. Cyrus said, ' After that cyclone gave us some food, he left the room and shouted to someone and said " Is the ruxmes ready." We tried figuring out what ruxmes meant but all were dead ends. And Zoe was not in the same room as us, we heard her screams but we still couldn't find her.' Mike added, ' Yeah, and we heard some growling too... It was quite creepy...' I asked, ' Growling?' Mike replied, ' Yeah...'

I said, ' Ruxmes... Screaming... Growling... These three things must have something to do with the capture of Ben and Zoe... I..I just can't put my finger on it...'

A/N: This chapter isn't 700-800 words but I will do a double update today. Also first one to figure out what 'ruxmes' means gets to choose the name of the main character in my next book ( please don't choose spy school character related names)
