The bell rang, signaling the start of a new school day at U.A. High School. Class 3-A was buzzing with energy, students catching up and sharing their excitement about the new semester. It was their third year, and they were eager to see what challenges awaited them.

The door to the classroom slid open, and the chatter began to die down as Kageko stepped inside. Her long ash-purple hair fell over her shoulders, and her piercing purple eyes briefly scanned the room. Even though she wore the standard school uniform, her presence immediately drew attention. This was her first day at U.A., and she couldn't help but feel the weight of all the eyes on her.

She moved with purpose, though there was a hint of shyness in the way she held herself. This was new territory, and despite her confidence, she wasn't one to relish being the center of attention. Over the years, she had learned to find comfort in solitude. Beside her, Shinso walked in, his expression calm and unreadable, as always. The two had known each other for years, trained together, and now they were finally at the same school.

As they made their way to their seats, the murmurs started. "Who's that?" someone whispered. "She's really pretty," another added, clearly struck by her appearance. But there was also curiosity—how did she know Shinso?

Just then, Mr. Aizawa, their homeroom teacher, entered the room, looking as tired as ever. The class quickly settled down, all eyes on him as he took his place at the front of the room.

"Settle down," Aizawa said, his voice carrying the usual tone of authority. The students immediately quieted, waiting for what he had to say next. "We have a new student joining us today."

Kageko felt a wave of nervousness but quickly pushed it aside. She stood up, feeling the weight of the class's attention on her again. She walked to the front of the room, her posture straight, though her eyes reflected a bit of the unease she felt. "I'm Kageko Yamikaze," she introduced herself, her voice clear but softer than she intended. "I'm looking forward to working with all of you."

Her words were simple, and while there was a hint of shyness, they carried a sincerity that made an impression on the class. She wasn't here to make a big splash; she just wanted to find her place.

Aizawa nodded, satisfied with her introduction. "Take your seat," he instructed, and Kageko returned to her place beside Shinso toward the back of the class, grateful that the moment was over.

As she sat down, the room was quiet for a moment before the whispers started up again. "She knows Shinso?" someone murmured, a mix of surprise and curiosity in their tone. It was unusual for someone new to know someone as reserved as Shinso, and the class couldn't help but wonder what their connection was.

Kageko could feel the stares, but she tried to focus on the lesson ahead. She wasn't used to being in the spotlight like this, and it made her a little uncomfortable. But she was here now, and she was determined to do her best.

The class had barely settled when Mineta, always quick to make a comment, leaned over with a grin. "Wow, confident and pretty," Mineta said, trying to sound charming. "You know, U.A. can be a lot to take in. Maybe I could show you around?"

Kageko blinked, caught off guard by his forwardness. She managed a polite but awkward smile. "Um, thanks, but I think I'll be okay."

Kaminari, picking up on Mineta's attempt, decided to join in. "Yeah, but seriously, if you ever need help, I'm your guy. U.A.'s got a lot going on, and it can be... overwhelming."

"Thanks," Kageko replied, her voice a bit firmer this time. "I appreciate it."

Before the conversation could continue, a loud scoff came from the back of the room. Katsuki Bakugo, arms crossed and glaring, didn't bother hiding his irritation. "Tch, just another newbie who thinks she's got what it takes. Just don't get in my way."

The room went silent, the tension thick in the air. Kageko turned to look at Bakugo, her expression a mix of surprise and something guarded behind her eyes. She wasn't sure how to respond, but she didn't want to start off on the wrong foot. "I'm here to learn, just like everyone else," she said calmly, hoping to diffuse the situation.

Bakugo's glare sharpened slightly, if that were even possible, more out of surprise at her composed response than anything else. But before anything more could be said, Aizawa stepped in.

"That's enough," Aizawa said, his voice firm as he redirected the class's attention. "We have a lot to cover today. Let's get started."

Kageko took her seat, relieved that the focus was finally shifting away from her. She could still feel the curious glances, but she tried to push them out of her mind. This was her first day, and she knew it would take time to adjust. She just hoped she could find her place without too much trouble.

As the lesson began, Kageko allowed herself to relax a little. The day had started off more intense than she'd expected, but she was ready to face whatever came next. She wasn't here to stand out—she just wanted to prove that she belonged and could become a hero.
