As soon as I lay down my phone gets a notification. I check to see who's it from and it's from an unsaved number

On the phone (messaging)

Adriana :Hi, who's this?

Unknown number : Ouch, can't even get a "how are you" ?

Adriana : Until I know who this is, I won't be.

Unknown number : U bumped into me in school on Thursday.

Adriana : Oh Diablo? Or smth like that rii?o

Adriana :Oh mb. I got confused. Wsp why'd u message me?

Diego : Bc i wanna hang out. U tryna come to a party today?

Adriana : Nah, srry I can't. I'm going to one alr.

Adrian : Idk, i got invited by my bf.

Adriana : yes

I just got back home and picked out an outfit for the party tonight, had to make sure it matched Adri's. I took some snacks and played Playstation. I totally blacked out. After a what seemed to be hours I found myself waking up to Adriana calling. I quickly picked it up.

Adriana : Hey... It's 7:50... Just calling to see if you're ready.

Kai : Yeah, I said I'd be there at 8, didn't I?

Adriana : Okay...

*The call ended*

If it wasn't for her, I probably would've not woken up. I quickly changed and drove to her house. It was now 8:11pm.

I hooted outside her house and saw her coming out....

"Damn, i didn't think she would pull it off... She looks really good." *I thought to myself*

Adriana entered the car and I started driving.

Adriana : You're late.

Kai : Yeah, yeah, yeah , whatever.
Adriana : Don't just act like I didn't save your butt.

I raised my eyebrow at her, wondering who she's talking to with all that attitude.

Kai : Because you didn't.
