After a moment of awkward silence he finally spoke.

Kai : You're delusional

Adriana : Then why can't I come inside with you?

Kai : Because it's none of your business.

Adriana : Not my business... or none of my business?

Kai sighed in annoyance

Kai : Both... Now stay in here.

Adriana :Now I'm more curious... I know you guys have something fishy in there.

Kai : Can you just shut up

Adriana : No... I can't

Kai : Fuck, you're annoying.

Adriana : You're rude

Kai : I know, why tell me ?

Adriana : Because sometimes I feel like you don't realize.

Kai : That's because you don't know me.

Adriana :That's why I want to know you... It would be better for the experience... You know? When I meet your parents,I'll know the answer ls to the questions they might ask.

Kai : Who, said anything about meeting my parents? - He said, his voice cold and stern, with a raised eyebrow and a cold piercing gaze.

Adriana : So we're not meeting them?

Kai : No.

Adriana : So you're telling me that you're not gonna make the girl that you went public with meet your mom?

Kai : Whats your point here?

Adriana :My point is... My mom already knows and my brother included, and she plans on meeting you. But I won't meet yours.

Kai : This thing we have here... It isn't gonna last long. Besides we met last week and I've been with Emma for 7 months and still haven't had a meal with her and my parents.

Adriana : Well... Wow. - I said in complete disbelief.

Kai : So what makes you think I'll let you meet my parents?

Adriana : I had no idea but okay.

Kai just turned his head away made a gesture for me to follow him. I got so excited that I, jumped and started clapping but my head got the roof and he quickly turned around to give me the most DISAPPOINTED LOOK of all time.

Kai : What the fuck? - he said coldly

Adriana : Sorry but it's just giving dark romance!!

Kai : Dark romance? - He said as his eyes narrowed and scanned mine.

I sighed defeatedly

Adriana : Ugh, nevermind, you wouldn't understand.

Kai : No i do. I just didn't think that I'd be considered as a character that had anything to do with dark romance.

Adriana : Wait so I'm guessing you read book!

Kai just nodded slowly

I squeeled in excitement.

Adriana : Yeah well you're giving cold, mysterious, emo biker guy

Kai's eyebrows raised in a way that said "What. The. Fuck"

Kai : excuse me, but did you just say emo?

Adriana : I mean... Sometimes you just look like a mafia bosses son or something.

Kai just chuckled softly, stroking his chin.

Kai : You read too many books and it's messing with your brain.

I giggled and he shook his head and opened the door, he got out and so did I.

WE walked towards the door of the building and he opened it, just to find boxes full of carrots, these carrots looked so healthy and clean. He counted each of them and grabbed one box and took it into the car, he then locked up and jumped into the drivers seat, making me jump into the passenger seat. He started the car and we were off to go.

Adriana : So where are we going?

Kai : To a guy who sells fruit n vegetables. - he said with his eyes stuck on the road.

Adriana : Oh okay, how much do you guys make from it.

Kai : None of your business.

Adriana : ouch... That was cold.

Kai : Why're you so nosey?

Adriana : I don't know, I've been tryna figure that out too.

Kai just rolled his eyes and sighed in annoyance and shifted his hips to sit differently on the seat. After a few minutes of silence I saw Kai's phone ringing. He took one look at it and looked back on the road, ignoring it completely. It was a call from Emma.

Kai kinda made me feel sorry for Emma, since she hadn't did anything bad to me, I think she's a nice person. I hope she's a nice person, and I don't want to be her enemy at all. After what seemed to be 10 trillion years, we arrived to the guy and dropped off the carrots then headed back home. I, started to get sleepy and found myself dozing off to sleep.

I then woke up to Kai carrying me bridal style. I got instant butterflies! I had to act like i was still asleep and for some reason I wanted to touch his chest. 🙏😞So I, placed my hand on his chest and started moving slightly but not opening my eyes. He placed me on his bed and covered me. I was listening for his movements, and for some reason he stood still for a moment before walking out the door. As soon as he closed the door I got up and looked around, the lights were off and it was really dark. I looked around for my phone but I couldn't find it. "Looking for this". Suddenly the lights came back on and I found Kai holding my phone a swinging it around teasingly.

I'VE BEEN CAUGHT!! HE CAUGHT ME RED HANDED!!

Adriana : HOLY SHIT! What the hell?

Kai : Why?

Adriana : Why what?

Kai :Why'd you act like you were asleep?

Adriana :Oh uh... Because... I Uhh. I... Okay I don't know why. Thinks we're getting awkward.

Kai's eyes narrowed as he scanned my face and took a few steps close. His tall figure towering over and dwarfing me. I got so nervous, my eyes darting from his face to everywhere in the room.

I stared holding my other arm and sealing my lips together nervously.

Kai : I made things awkward?

Adriana : Yeah... You barely talk.

Kai :Because what's there to talk about?

Adriana : I don't know. Maybe "BIKES".
-My tone rizing at each word and emphasizing the word "bikes".

Kai : we both like bikes, but that doesn't mean we should talk about them all the time.

Adriana : Okay then what would you like to talk about?

Kai : Okay first of all, let's get one thing straight. You better watch your mouth and your attitude.

Adriana : Or what? - I said with a hint of attitude.

Kai : Or I'll fix it for you. - he said with a stern look as he clenched his jaw and scanned my face.
