Goob's secret.

Scraps pov...

She woke up, yawning and stretching out her paws in the air, sitting up before looking around.
'I better go check on goob.. i did hear crying in the night' she thought, slithering out the sheets and picking up her white dress to put on.
Once she was done she went to a mirror and tied on her pink ribbon onto the top of her dress, opening the door and stepping towards Goobs door. She stretched out her back legs and tail before twisting open the door, walking in and immediately noticing how obvious it was that Goob was hiding something on his desk, crafts and painting stacked in a messy pile. She wandered towards it before glancing to Goob's bed, her eyes widening when she saw a glimpse of Shrimpos hand.
'Did goob really sleep WITH shrimpo..!?' Moving closer to see if it as actually true but as she saw Goob finally yawn awake she dashed out, slamming the door accidentally and returning back to her room. She cant believe it, but she also wished she had seen what Goob was hiding, it must of been that important to be hidden under all that.. stuff..
'I'll just go check when he wakes up.'

Shrimpo's pov...

He woke up with a groan, nuzzling deeper into Goob's chest fur to try and ignore the morning light seeping through the open curtains.
"Come on sleepyhead, we gotta see the other Toons" he heard Goob say, looking up at him and blushing not remembering sleeping in Goob's bed.
"What! How did i end up here!" He exclaimed, sitting up and kicking the cover off of him, his face redder than an apple.
"You had a nightmare, then ended up falling asleep so i got you a but more comfortable! Did it help?"
He remembered the nightmare now, it being almost haze as the back of his mind that was trying to float away from its problems. But he had to say, this was the best sleep he'd ever had... nothing worrying him.. just a soft comfy snooze into the next day.
"Yea.. it did help.. but im fine now!" He replied back, shuffling off the bed and as his feet met the ground he was surprised, normally in his room it was a cold hard floor but there was a light red carpet which was soft and puffy. Flinching before finally putting both his feet on it and walking to the door, just before he left he murmured a 'thanks' under his breath, shutting the door behind him. He rubbed his arm softly before walking down the stairs, seeing toodles hop down the stairs from the second floor as rodger tried to catch up with her, he moved out the way just incase Toodles wasnt looking in front of her
'Wait why am i being nice.? Im supposed to be mean! Everyone treats me horrible so i should do the same!' But toodles was just a kid, so he stayed in his position and waited till she was gone before proceeding down. Jumping off the two last steps and walking towards the main floor, 'weird.. scraps isnt here yet. Shes always first down' questioning before walking over to a vending machine and popping in the number for a chocolate bar, grabbing it from the pick-up slot and mindlessly strolling over to a bench. sitting down and tearing off the wrapper before taking a bite, his eyes closed and legs crossed, before he felt the bench creak and realised someone had sat next to him. He opened one of his eyes and looked to see who it was, obviously it was Goob... that silly, cute dog... wait not cute!
"Hey there bud! Knew i would see ya here! Sorry it took me so long to get dressed"
He looked at Goob up and down, noticing he had a new outfit on than usual, it looked good on him.. while he was in his own thoughts he noticed Goob was saying something, snapping out of it and listening.
"Also, i got a gift for you! Scraps taught me how to sew soo, i made this" Goob handed him a soft fluffy.. type of clothing? He took it and unfolded it, seeing it was a new shirt, black and red with short sleeves, attached to it was some black-fading-to-red arm warmers. He felt loved just from this gift and was holding back the urge to hug his fluffy dog friend, but that wouldnt be so good for the other Toons to see. He wanted his reputation to stay the same not to change just from a stupid hug, he looked up to goob with a slight happy smile not even knowing what to say.
"Thanks.. its been a long time since anyones given a gift to me.." he murmured, looking back to the shirt and feeling how soft it was, he just couldnt wait to put it on.
"Anything for my best bud! :))"
"Im.. im your best bud.?" He stuttered, looking up with wide eyes, he didnt expect that.. especially from someone he used to bully the most..
"Of course! You've really got a change of heart now, i bet every toon could grow to like you!" Goob had said In a cheerful tone before hearing Scraps call him in the distance, propping up and bounding away without a goodbye.
'Did i really have a change of heart...?'
