I wouldn't have been surprised at all if Donna avoided me after that kiss. If she decided to be as cold as she was at first. Not having any intention of talking to me or even being face-to-face. But instead, she tried to spend as much time with me as possible.

"You know, I'm not going to poison your food. You don't have to watch me." I chuckle.

Donna rests her head on her hand, "I like watching you. Most of all I like being with you."

I blush slightly, quickly becoming nervous. Since the kiss, Donna had become a bit bolder and comfortable. Not hesitating at all to say whatever she was thinking. It reminded me of Angie in a way. Except Angie was that way regardless of who she was talking to.

Donna had taken a liking to flirting and sweet compliments. Which I could admit was cute.

"You really know how to use your hands huh?"

I tense up and slowly turn around. My shoulders relax upon seeing Angie snickering and Donna looking embarrassed.

Thank god she hasn't become that bold.

"I apologize for bringing up this topic but, what exactly are we?" Donna suddenly asked.

"Don't apologize, Donna, as for your question though..." I lean on the counter and close my eyes in thought.

"Well, what do you want to be?" I open my eyes and look into Donnas eye.

"Well, I...I think I'd like for us to be in a relationship. Although it's fine if you don't." Donna mumbles.

I grin at her, "Why else would I kiss you if I didn't?"

I reach over and grab her hand. She squeezes mine in return and smiles warmly back.

"Can you guys not be so corny in front of me?" Angie sneers and floats away.

I roll my eyes and go back to cooking. Donna bringing up random topics now and then.

Despite my past relationships, it had never felt so...relaxing. With Donna, I felt free and comfortable.

That's ironic.

Despite my capture and being transported here, it didn't feel like I was being forced. Even though I was, Donna made me feel safe. Sure things were rocky at first but all in all she's completely caring and sweet.

I have everything I need. A house, food, perfect girlfriend, safety. What else do I need?

"Why haven't you tried to escape?" Donna broke through my thoughts.

I freeze, "Excuse me?"

"Why would an foreigner like you stay here? Why haven't you tried to escape? You had so many chances but didn't choose to. Why?"

Why is she asking me about this?

"I...well I'm not really sure," I awkwardly laugh.

"You have family, don't you? I saw your brother. Don't you want to go back to him?" Donna pressed.

"I don't think that's important now, Donna. And I don't owe you an explanation."

"I know about the gun you've been hiding."

My blood runs cold. The air suddenly becomes still and thick. I couldn't think.

"Why do you have it?" She questioned.

But it was more like she was demanding to know. It reminded me of that one time she threatened me. The cold, intimidating side of Donna that knew how to fill the role of being a Lord.
