TAEHYUNG

I saw her coming with another dress on, her eyes sparkling with a mix of excitement and nervousness. "How is this one?" she asked, twirling slightly to show off the new outfit.

I couldn't help but chuckle, leaning against the doorframe. "This is the fourteenth outfit you're trying. Come on, Ishi, you look gorgeous in each of them."

She scoffed, adjusting the dress with a slightly frustrated look. "We're meeting your parents, Tae. I want to look presentable."

I walked over and took her hands in mine, giving her a reassuring smile. "You don't need to worry about that. They're going to love you. They've heard so much about you already and are just excited to finally meet you."

She sighed, looking at herself in the mirror with a critical eye. "I just want everything to be perfect. What if they think I'm not good enough?"

I stepped closer and wrapped my arms around her in a comforting hug. "Treasure, they're not going to think that. They've always told me they just want me to be happy, and if I'm with you, that's more than enough for them."

She relaxed a bit, though a hint of uncertainty still lingered in her eyes. "You really think so?"

"Absolutely," I assured her, giving her a gentle squeeze. "You're smart, kind, and beautiful—what's not to love?"

A playful glint returned to her eyes as she looked at her reflection, then back at me. "Okay, so which one do you think is best? Dress number fourteen or should we try on dress fifteen?"

I grinned, pulling her closer and letting my fingers trail lightly down her arm. "Do you really want to know my preference?"

She nodded, a smile tugging at her lips.

With a wicked smirk, I leaned in and whispered, "My preference? Honestly, it's for you to wear nothing at all. But if I have to choose, this dress is pretty stunning—though I have to admit, I'd much rather see it on the floor."

Her eyes widened, and she burst into laughter, giving me a playful shove. "Tae! You're such a flirt!"

I chuckled and gave her a teasing squeeze on her backside, enjoying the way she jumped in surprise. "Hey, I'm just being honest. Besides, you know I can't help but get a little carried away when I'm with you."

She swatted at me playfully, her cheeks flushed with a mix of laughter and embarrassment. "Alright, alright. I'll go with this one then. But you'd better be on your best behavior tonight."

"Absolutely," I said, giving her a flirtatious wink and another gentle squeeze. "And remember, no matter what, you're already perfect in my eyes. Even if you are teasing me with all these clothes."

With a final mischievous grin, we headed towards the door. As we left, hand in hand, I felt a rush of excitement and pride. Today was going to be unforgettable, and I couldn't wait to share it with her.

As we made our way to the restaurant, Ishita's grip on my hand was a bit tighter than usual, her fingers slightly trembling. I could sense the nerves beneath her composed exterior, so I decided to ease her worries.

"Treasure, can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked gently, guiding her to a quieter spot on the sidewalk.

She looked up at me, her eyes a mix of excitement and anxiety. "Sure, what's up?"

I took a deep breath, searching for the right words. "You know how you always tell me how much your parents liked me? I just want you to know that your feelings matter to me more than anything. I know this is important to you, and I want you to feel as comfortable and confident as you made me feel when I first met your family."
