During the break, I was bored. Girls were talking about how they spent their holidays, doing things that I didn't see how it benefitted them.

"We traveled to Lagos for the holiday, me and my mom," said Hale, some rich, spoiled girl who thought the world should be at her service.

"I went to a Rema concert in Canada," said Janet.

I rolled my eyes. I swear if someone said so-

"My dad bought the new Lexus, and..."

"Who cares?" I had a sly grin, keeping eye contact with the girl.

She stared at me like I was some alien.

I stormed off to the rails where I watched the basketball team. People were already squeezed on the railing watching, so I squeezed in too.

* PLEASE AVOID RESTING ON RAILINGS!!!!!! *

Liam was sweaty, obviously, his only sight on the ball. Why did his sweat still make him look hot???

He scored into the basket, and the crowd went wild. I stared and smiled a little. I knew basketball was his dream due to a little stalking on his Insta, and I was glad he was achieving it.

The coach, our P.E. teacher, blew the whistle, and they started again. Liam allowed others to play and pass to him while he was blocking shots. But one of the senior boys, Owen, tossed it into the opponent's basket.

In the last two rounds, Liam didn't let them go off easily, and his team won. The RODGERDOGS won.

"Let's goooooooo" is what I heard the boys shout while they hugged Liam, even though the crowd was louder. On second thought, maybe I will come during the weekends to watch their games.

I was still staring at Liam, happy for him when his eyes spotted mine. He smiled back and winked.

WAIT....... DID HE JUST WINK?

His teammates carried him off, and the break was over. "Hot ass," I heard a girl next to me say to herself, and I turned to look at her, and she had some smirk on her face.

"Excuse me?" I asked out of the blue.

Weird...
