She looked at me weirdly and scoffed. "Chill, not everyone's drooling over him like you are," she said before walking off. Who was this girl?.
*Friday*
It was the end of the school day, so I stopped by Johnson's class. He was talking with two guys that I'd never seen before and his good friend Jeremiah, who was pretty annoying. Like, why would a boy playfully hit a girl when she playfully hit him?
I walked over to him. "Let's go," I growled, folding my arms and staring at him.
"Just a sec," he said, giving one of the guys a bro handshake. I guess that's what they call those. But is that how guys hug? Well, it would be pretty weird if they hugged like girls.
"I see your..." He looked at Johnny and then back at me.
And I looked at Johnny. "No, we're literal siblings, bro. Anyway, see ya."
I loved how John always called us siblings to people who asked if we were dating. Plus, he had a girlfriend in South Africa. He turned to me as I turned to leave.
"Bye, Drey," Jeremiah shouted. He must have noticed the small death stares I gave him.
I raised my middle finger at him, not looking back, and stormed off.
We came down from the stairs and walked towards the school exit with our usual banter. "Woah, where did that come from?" Johnny asked.
"I don't even know, I'm really tired."
"You're always tired."
"Oh yeah?" I asked, like I was going to fight him.
"Yeah."
"Shut up."
We laughed, but he laughed better since I could see his cute dimples.
"So...you coming to the party Saturday tonight?"
I stared at him disapprovingly. Though I loved school parties, I was not the party and drinking type. My parents almost killed me the last time they found out that I had snuck out.
"Am I doing the dishes for two months again?"
"Am I going to help you again? Yes."
"Please come."
"I can't," I said, making hand movements because I couldn't express emotions without moving my hands.
"I can't make you, but maybe he can," Johnny said, nodding towards Liam walking towards us.
"What's good, Liam?"
I folded my arms for no reason as Liam smiled at us. "The party Saturday tonight, seniors are gonna be there."
"Ooohhh."
"Drey, you coming, right?"
I stared at Liam, who had irresistible pink lips. "Yeah, wouldn't miss it," I responded, and Johnny stared at me, but I just stared at Liam.
"Great. Aight, see y'all later," Liam said before winking and leaving.
"Wink count two," Johnny remarked.
"You think he likes you?"
"No, typical playboy. I sighed."
"He literally gave you a personal invite."
"You were literally here. It's not personal," I scowled.
"Yeah, but I won't be there when he's trying to get into your panties."
"Ew, stop!" I exclaimed, and he laughed as I hit him hard on his arm.
