My heart was about to jump from my body when someone walked into my room. I didn't even have time to think of who it could be. The person's footsteps came close to my bed.

I think the person could even hear my heartbeat. "Drey?" The person tapped me. I suddenly calmed myself down. As he removed the duvet, I stared at him. I was about to smash his head into the wall and he stared back with a stupid smile on his face. He knew what he did.

I used the umbrella on him just a little until he was laughing. "I-al-most (hit) dieddd (hit)". He was still laughing. "You should've seen your face," he chuckled and I kicked his ass and lay back on my bed.

A few moments later, we were in Johny's car. I was in a light pink skims dress that reached my ankle but slit up to my thighs. "Am I hot in here, or is it you?" Johny laughed as I got into the car.

I laughed. "It's probably your air conditioning," I touched the vent and it literally fell off. "Look, this car may not have a heart of gold, but it's slick on the outside."

"Idiot."

"Yeah, you're an idiot."

"Oh, really?"

"Yeah."

"Shut up," we laughed again.

"Anyone told you you're annoyingly cute?"

"Nah, just you," he smiled.

"Yeah, don't forget it."

Just as we got out of the car to a house blasting with music and lights, with teens everywhere, making out anywhere, smoking or throwing up. "Okay Drey, you know the drill, no drugs-"

"No smoking,"

"No making out, just drinking."

"Don't forget dancing," he winked at me and slid his hand around my neck. Maya had already gotten here by herself for some reason. We usually meet up together, but I don't know, she suddenly became... distant.

We got into the home and it was some college kid's home. The place reeked of vodka. I usually only drank vodka during parties; nothing else.

"Yo, Alexa!"

"John!" She hugged Johny.

"Who was she?"

"Oh, Drey, this is Alexa, my cousin," she looked familiar.

"Oh yeah, the girl who told me to stop drooling over Liam. Hi, I'm Audrey."

"Yeah, I know," she shook my hand and smiled.

We talked for a while. "So what school did you come from?"

"Greenfield."

"Oh, cool, I've been at North Hills for, like, centuries."

"OK, you two catch up, let me go get drinks," Liam said and left. Johny left me with his pretty cousin, who had some kind of attitude. "He has so much he isn't telling you."

"Excuse me..."

"Hiiiiii," it was Maya.

"Oh my God," she wore a dark fit with heels. We hugged each other. "Have you seen the hotties?" Maya mouthed to me.

And I laughed. "I'll catch y'all later."

Alexa left. God, did she have something against boys? Thank God, I breathed.

"Who is she?"

"Johnny's cousin," she stared at me, waiting for me to say something else. "Speaking of hotties, come watch my school's basketball game against yours, it's on Friday next week," she told me.

"Umm, hell yeah?" I responded, jumping. I took sips of the vodka that was full to the top.

"I knew you'd want that," shouted Maya.

"Let's dance!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, our favorite song blasting through the speakers.

We danced our hearts out, jumping, swaying, and laughing. God, I loved my bestie. But I was getting dizzy, tired, and felt like puking.
