In a museum Tai Romanoff was standing next to a little boy with blond hair who was holding his hand listening to the lesson from Storm.
Storm: Neanderthals. We once believed they were wiped out by years of conflict with a much more advanced branch of humanity. Called co-magnon man.
He saw the little boy doing something with his finger showing a star. Tai looked around to make sure no one was looking at him.
Tai:(Whisper) Дункан, не используй свои силы на публике(Danny, don't use your powers in public.)
Danny: (Whisper)Извините, господин Тай(Sorry, Mr. Tai.)
(Danny can speak Russian thanks to Tai. Danny formed a close bond to Tai, like Tai did with Logan.)
Tai smiles and rubs Danny's head making him smile. Tai then heard a voice.
(Bida: Something's wrong with that woman again.)
Tai turned back to look at Jean and Scott who were talking.
(Tai: What do you mean?)
He saw all of the systems acting up for a few seconds.
(Tai: Oh....I have been noticing she's been acting different. Since I've gotten back. Yesterday she had to concentrate to lift up a book. What the hell did I miss in the last two years.)
Storm walked up to Tai.
Storm: Hey, have you seen Bobby and Rogue?
Tai: Oh yeah, she told me she was gonna hang out with and John I think? I know where they are. Stay with Storm Danny.
Danny: Okay.
Tai walked off with his hands in his pocket. He walked into the food court to see two guys standing in front of three people, one being Rogue the other being Bobby and some other guy Tai just met.
Guy: Why are you being such a dick?
???: Because I can.
Rogue and Bobby laugh but one of the guys sounded annoyed.
Guy: Can I have a light?
The guy lights up his lighter then closes it.
???: Sorry I can't help you.
Rogue: John Knock it off.
John: Oh, for him?
Tai saw the boy stare at Rogue she slowly looked up. He gave her a smirk making Tai a bit annoyed he walked over and sat next to Rogue. Rogue looked over and her eyes widen.
Tai: (Yawn) Sup babe.
John and Bobby looked at Tai and smirked knowing why he his demeanor changed. He looked up at the guy.
Tai: Who is this?
Tai gave them a glare. Rogue saw his eye flash but she grabbed his hand calming him down a bit.
Tai:(Sigh)
One of the guys grabbed John's lighter.
John: Hey!
John walked over to him but the guys friend got in front of John.
Guy: What are you going to do?
Tai looked to see the one of the guys blowing out smoke he then saw John smirking.
Tai: John.....I'm going to tell you this once. Don't.
John: What? I'm just going to get my lighter back.
John winks at the cigarette making it blow up and light the guy on fire shocking everyone, but Tai rushes over and put the fire out by absorbing it. He snatched the lighter out of the guys hand then walked over to John and shoves it to John into John's chest causing him to grunt by the force.
