A young lady sat on the dilapidated bed in the small storage room. The room was dimly lit from the moonlight coming from the small window as cold breeze blew by from time to time.

A patched quilt was laid on the bed and some old clothes arranged neatly on the stool beside the bed. She was wearing a set of thin patched clothes which was in contrast to the winter season.

A dark scarlet flashed in her hazel iris. She lowered her head as a low groan escaped her pained face. Her gums ached as her canines grew longer and sharper. Her skin pale as her temperature lowered drastically.

Finally after several hours of pain and aching in her whole body, Su Qingya suddenly turned her face up. Her eyes glowed scarlet in the dark, like a predator of the darkness waiting for its prey.

A mirror appeared in front of her before floating in front of her with a red hue covering it. The heart shaped face was a little malnourished with beautiful phoenix hazel eyes. The lips now looked plump and rosy. The hair was cut in mid-length and looked dry.

Su Qingya looked around the small, empty room. The original owner was a neat and tidy girl so the room was relatively clean. The poor soul died from the severe winter cold.

She closed her eyes as her subconscious expanded. Flashes of memories went through her mind. The original owner was also called Su Qingya. She also has a fiancé and was recently busy arranging for a job in the city to escape the queue.

However last night she found that the fiancé and step-sister were cheating her and gave her name to the educated youth. The original owner was senior high school student and couldn’t go to college due to the current situation.

Su Qingya found it little weird that the original owner died like that. Thus she searched around the room silently and finally found a piece of red blood jade hidden under the stool with gum.

A weird smell was emitting from it and strange symbol were drawn. It looked like a witch curse. This witch race was later burned on stakes by the common people about centuries before the evolution of the supernatural powers. Her grandfather often told her stories about it. The ones who survived let go of the craft and lived in deep seclusion, only sought out by evil power-hungry people.

However this time they choose the wrong medium, Su Qingya thought while taking out an identical looking jade from her space. “So this is why I suddenly got pulled here.”

Su Qingya joined the two jades by the pattern and finally together they looked like a small marble like ball and started to glow slightly. The cursed pattern disappeared as the glow become more pure before falling on her palm lightly.

Whereas some miles away in a dilapidated courtyard some old women suddenly choked up and vomited black blood before falling unconscious. The jade pearl slowly dimmed with a shiny luster before emitting a cold aura.

Su Qingya could feel her previous headache and discomfort of being in a newly transformed vessel ease up. Su Qingya took silver chain from the space before adjusting the pearl with it and wore in around her neck. In this winter season, most clothes were with high necks. So although the clothes are thin, it helped to hide the necklace completely.

She felt her iris turn scarlet again as a deep rooted hunger erupted in her. She could smell the blood pumping in the veins, their heart thumping in their chest with life and their deep sleep without precaution.

Su Qingya took a deep breath before summoning a blood bag from the space. She felt herself visibly calm down from her bloodlust. It’s been a while that she lost control on herself like this. Perhaps, the transmigration and transformation overwhelmed her more than she thought.

After a while, she erased all traces of her deeds. She could feel her skin soften in its previous luster and her hairy become more smooth and voluminous. The faint scars of working were also gone from her hands and toes.

Su Qingya arranged the other things in room again before finding a letter of introduction. The original owner got this with much difficulty. It was job introduction as a temporary accountant in a food factory named Freedom Foods.

It was then that she noticed she had heard all these names before somewhere. Su Qingya, her step-sister Su An, the fiancé Du Zhan, the food factory Freedom Foods, educated youth, this era…

Wasn’t this the characters and settings of a novel she read during her teenage years? The book was given to her by her grandfather along with the half jade piece. She only read it once and later stuffed it in her space.

A complicated look flashed in her eyes as she summoned the book from the space.

The title ‘President Li’s Pampered Little Wife’ really looked vulgar on the elegantly designed cover.

Su Qingya ruffled through some pages before recalling the story. The original owner was actually a cannon fodder character in the book. The original character didn’t actually die here. However she fell ill and the step-sister took the opportunity to steal the letter and her job.

The original had no choice but to go to the countryside. Due to having to work in the family, she did have some skills and tried to make a living in the countryside and forget about the betrayal about her step-sister and fiancé.

However, luck was not on her side. She tried to rescue the female lead, Fu Jiu during a flash flood and died there. The female lead was actually reborn and to thank the original’s sacrifice she took care of this treacherous family and reunited with the original’s mother’s side.

Later with their help, she and the male lead, Li Jiangshen contributed to the reconstruction and became a wealthy rich couple in the business world.

Actually, the original was quite pitiful in the book. She rescued the female lead but lost her life and instead paved the way for the future development of the female lead.

Su Qingya felt a little conflicted at that when she noticed that the book slowly turns in sand and slipped through her fingers.

A tremendous lightning flashed in the sky as a purple light flashed before disappearing. Few noticed it and just thought it an illusion.

However, thousands of miles away in the capital, Beijing a young man in his twenties suddenly opened his eyes with a gasp. He just dreamed of a girl with hazel eyes. A firm determination to find her, to see her arose in his heart.
