Train To The Mountains

The railway station was bustling with people. From time to time, some would turn their head to look at the 16 year old girl elegantly sitting in the waiting area quietly reading the red book.

"Passengers boarding train to N Province are asked to head to the platform 4. The departure time of the train is at 11:30am." The announcement yelled out in the control room, finally catching her attention.

Su Qingya left the space at dawn in the alley. She didn't want anymore interactions with that family and sent a letter exposing the father's deeds to the original's mother's family and left it to them to deal with.

She was not going to interfere much and risk exposing herself. It's better to let the original owner's mother's family to seek revenge for them.

She had sold that letter of introduction for 500 yuan and logged on to the queue to the countryside.

The manager was more than happy to change her name and let her go the more developed area he had arranged for his daughter previously. Comparison really made Su Qingya pity the predecessor of this body. Hope she rests in peace.

Su Qingya had changed into a brown turtleneck sweater with high-waist pants with a long beige coat over it. It was not too eye catching in color while giving out a noble feeling. And she took a medium sized messenger bag as cover to take things out of the space.

She quickly found her cabin according to her ticket. Having booked the top berth, she no longer had to worry about strangers wanting to seat on her berth and dirtying the place.

Since she had come early, the cabin was empty. Su Qingya removed the weird smelling blanket provided by the station from the upper berth and put it in the cabinet placed in the middle of the cabin.

She then took out a sanitizer bottle and sprayed it on the leather berth before wiping it dry with a clean handkerchief before discarding it in the dustbin.

The unclean conditions in this era were making her mysophobia act up again. Finally putting a clean blanket folded in a military style on the berth she climbed up. Su Qingya sighed before rubbing her hands with sanitizer again.

Just then the cabin door opened as two military soldiers entered the cabin. Su Qingya glanced at them lightly before returning her gaze to the book infront of her.

She had bought some books to know about this period as much as possible. Just in case if she had stay here due to some delay... Not going back to her era had crossed her mind more than once but she had to try.

Afterall being a vampire in these times was neither safe nor a risk - free matter. Humans here would do anything to capture her and treat her like a lab rat if they ever knew.

"Hello! I am Han Zemin. This is my friend Li Xiang." One of the soldiers enthusiastically introduced himself. The other seemed a little quiet and just smiled back when she looked towards them.

"Su Qingya. Nice to meet you." She gave a short reply. She respected soldier given she had her own army as the Queen of the clan, otherwise she would have just ignored the other party.
