I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. My hand sprawled out to grab it, I peered at the caller ID before answering.

"Hey Ams, whats up ?" I said, putting the phone to my ear.

"You are coming over, you are sleeping here tonight and you are telling me everything about whatever the fuck happened last night." I giggled at her before responding.

"Eetswa, I'll be there asap, see you soon." I took the phone away from my ear and hung up. My feet kicked off the blankets covering my body to stand up and walk to the bathroom. The mirror showed my reflection, my slightly puffy red eyes from crying last night, the smudged mascara and makeup I didn't bother to remove, my body drowning in an over-sized shirt I threw on in a hurry to get into bed.

I stripped my clothes off and hopped in the shower.

Finishing my usual routine, my foot stepped out onto the cold tile floor, my hand reached for a towel, wrapping it around my body. I got out and brushed my hair, not bothering with makeup as I was only going to Amerie's. I got clothed and packed my bag, heading out my room to find my mum.

"Hey mum, could you drop me off at Amerie's house? I'm gonna stay there tonight and head to school with her in the morning." I asked while walking into the living room.

My mum looked up at me from the couch. "Yeah sure honey." Lifting herself up and walking out the room to grab her shoes.

As I entered Amerie's house, we walked through the kitchen where her mum was, "Hi Huma"

"Hi Mia, I haven't seen you for a while." She replied with a smile. "How are you, lovely?"

"Yeah I'm good" I looked at her smiling back. Amerie and I continued through the house, reaching her bedroom. She opened the door and I instantly threw myself onto her bed dropping my bag on the floor.

She followed me to her bed and sat next to me. "Soooo, spill." She initiated.

"God where do I even begin?" I started. "Erm so at the end of the year 10 party, you know the one Dusty threw, I started speaking to Chook because I was buying some caps, we didn't even really do anything we just yarned."

Flashback

I made my way over to the only eshay I could see. He wasn't even in year 10 he was a year 11 but since he was a dealer he was practically everywhere. Plus he would probably end up being in year 11 again next year as it's obvious school is not his top priority.

"Oi, you got caps on you?" I questioned slightly awkwardly. Usually Chook wasn't who I'd buy off, he was always around when I'd buy but it was normally Cash or Tilla selling to me.

"Yeah, how many you wanting?" He spoke sounding somewhat bored.

"Two, $40 yeah?" I asked while handing him my money. He nodded his head and grabbed the cash with one hand and his other dug into his pocket pulling out a small plastic bag with two pills in. He passed me the baggy. I opened it and dry swallowed one of the pills before sticking the other into my bag. His eyes followed my movement. "You seem bored ay." I continued speaking to him out of my own boredom.

"Hanging around year 10s wasn't how I thought I'd be spending my night." He murmured almost as if it was an insult.

"Well aren't you a ray of sunshine." My eyes rolled as I walked away from him.

Later on I went to the kitchen for another drink. The md I took earlier was now starting to hit. In the corner of the room was stood the same boy from before, dressed in a Nike shirt and Kappa joggers finished with the signature eshay chain. He was kinda cute when you looked past how rude he was.
