[ Careful Lenous, there are two Flahores up ahead. Levels 1 and 2.]
These things looked like horses but could spray out fire. Their tails were fiery and these beasts don't seem to usually be alone.
-me
[ I can probably take the level 1 on as long as I can dodge both of their flames. ]
Easier said than done, even though all my equipment was light, I found it difficult to dodge both of them and ended up taking some damage. I was able to take down the level 1 but the level 2 was still giving me some trouble.
-Enza
[ It seems that the level 2 is about to go down as well, just a few more hits and it will go down!]
-me
[ Alrighty then! Let's finish him up with my daggers!]
I proceeded to throw both daggers at the beast, one dagger completely missed it and the other one just lightly scratched it. "Careful Lenous! The flahore has already charged up its fire!" I heard Enza yell, I quickly dove to the right of the beast right when it bowed its head down to unleash its flames. HYAAAA!
- Enza
[ Well you did a good job taking out both flahores, but you are low on health. You should chug down a health pot and get on our way. Also congratulations on leveling up! You are level two now with a bit of extra experience.]
- Lenous
[ PLARGH!! This health pot is disgusting! I hope the food isn't as bad as this. Also Enza, what's so special about leveling up and how do you know you are advancing in your techniques?]
- Enza
[ Luckily, I still have that information. Leveling up in a sense doesn't do anything important except for unlocking new abilities that anyone can use. As long as you use the weapons you want to advance in battle, they will slowly level up themselves. For example, your sword technique is level 2 while your daggers are halfway there.]
-Lenous
[ Alright, I guess it's time to farm hard then so I can quickly level up!]
The area in where I was farming was almost deserted, there were players here and there but it seemed that most of the players either stayed at the starting town or left in other directions. This didn't really bother me since I already had a goal in mind.
- After farming for a while -
-Lenous
[ I'm so tired, I was able to farm all the way to level 5 today with only 4 health pots. Maybe tomorrow I might be able to get to level 10 if I buy some more. What do you think Enza?]
- Enza
[ You are probably right, let's call it quits for today and resupply in the morning. Also, how much Din do you have?]
-Lenous
[ I have around 500 Din now. So I can probably afford to eat and sleep at the inn. ]
I walked back into the now shadowy town we all started at and looked for the nearest inn. I saw a group of players and decided to ask them if they could show me where the inn was. " Hey do you guys know where the nearest inn is at?" I asked. " Who da hell cares where the inn is at, we're all screwed anyway." Said one of the players. " Man I wish this game started us out with some lights and beer." Replied another. The others just muttered about how this was unfair and I decided to go off by myself.
After a few minutes of wandering around the town, I was able to find the inn. At its entrance was a bright red fox with white patches of fur here and there and below the picture was the name " Foxhole". I entered the inn and what I saw was a state of despair so strong you could feel it in the air. There were players wasting their Din on alcohol and others just huddling in the corners and edges talking to themselves about how this is all just a horrible nightmare that they can't wake up from just yet.
I walked up to the registration and asked the older man who was there if there were any rooms available. He seemed a bit surprised at first but quickly regained his composure and told me that there were a few rooms left. I paid the man and quickly ran up to the room that was assigned to me.
[Enza, do you think the people here will begin to realize that we can't mope around all day and actually do something productive?]
[Of course I think so, that's what humans do, they first do whatever their emotions tell them to and then get up and act. Humans adapt and survive.]
[... Thanks Enza, goodnight]
[Goodnight master.]
