AN: I do apologise for this one but it's not a very good day for me and I figured it would be easier to write rather than actually talk but you know that's healthy for me lol. I do hope you guys enjoy this one as it's based off one of my big sisters fave songs. Please let me know what you think.

The compound had been silent since the team returned from their last mission, everyone but one had made it back. Everyone was mourning in their own ways, Wanda kept herself locked inside the room she had once shared with Y/N, playing with the ring they had given her, tears falling from her eyes as she had wrapped herself inside one of their hoodies.

"You can't keep doing this, Wanda. They wouldn't want this." Vision spoke as he phased through the wall.

"You know nothing of what I feel." She sneered as her eyes never left the photograph in her lap. "I have lost everything."

"You still have the team." Vision reminded her.

"And where are they, huh?" She questioned. "We have lost my Y/N! We couldn't even bring their body back with us because we couldn't get them from underneath all that rubble! They are never truly going to be at peace!"

"We have a job to do." Vision told her.

"You are nothing but a robot, you have not got the capacity to understand human emotions." She seethed before using her powers and forcing him out of the room, her tears falling once more as she looked at Y/N's goofy smile. "I miss you so much." She sobbed.

"Hey, Natasha told me we had a newbie." Y/N stood in the doorway, watching as Wanda sat on the edge of her bed. "I'm Y/N Romanoff." They introduced themselves, holding out their hand for her to shake.

"You're not afraid of me?" Wanda questioned with her head tilted. "Everyone else is afraid of my powers."

"Well, as you can see Ms Maximoff, I'm not like everyone else." They told her with a smirk as they soon sat beside her. "I believe that you just don't fully understand your powers, and you need to understand them to have complete control over them." Wanda listened as they spoke. "Besides, your powers don't make you who you are, it's the choices you make that set life in motion."

"I just never really thought of it like that." Wanda whispered as she looked at her hands.

"Maybe, if you'd like of course, I could help you understand your powers." They suggested it with a soft smile. "We can do this together if you'd like? I want to help you, Wanda. You're not a monster and you never truly were."

Wanda soon found herself making her way through the compound, her mind still stuck in her memories of how her and Y/N had begun. Absent-mindedly making her way towards the training room, soon finding Natasha in their with Yelena, the two of them sparring, their own way of coping with the loss of their sibling.

"Wanda, hey." Yelena spoke up as she spotted Wanda walk towards them, the two stopping and approaching the mourning witch.

"You're finally out of your room." Natasha spoke calmly as Wanda just nodded, unable to form any words. "You know, we're here if you need anything."

"I know." Wanda whispered as she moved away from the two of them, both Yelena and Natasha sharing a look as they watched her.

"Okay, Wanda, I need you to focus on keeping your magic at your fingertips." Y/N told her as the two sat on the training room floor opposite each other. Wanda just nodded as she did as she was told. "Close your eyes and focus on your fingertips." They whispered softly, watching as her powers remained at her fingertips, the red mist just dancing calmly around them.
