Chapter 11: Dealing with family drama

Jay was woken up by pounding on the front door, and he groans and puts on a T-shirt.

Jay was already wearing sweatpants since he had worn them to bed last night. He signed in Frustration and heads downstairs.

Aiden Halstead, Zilpah Halstead, Rachana Halstead, Tanner Halstead, Enzio Halstead, Ernesto Halstead, Erica Halstead, Ariel Halstead, Hyacinth Halstead, Izzy Halstead, Thomas Halstead and their dad Patrick are all at the door and Jay smiles and hugs them and let's them Inside the house and makes breakfast for everyone including his wife Leah and makes pancakes, bacon and fresh fruit with orange and apple juice to drink.

Leah came downstairs and immediately hugged Jay, and he flinches from her touch.

Aiden Halstead, Rachana Halstead, Tanner Halstead, Enzio Halstead, Ernesto Halstead, Erica Halstead, Ariel Halstead, Hyacinth Halstead, Izzy Halstead and Thomas Halstead noticed Jay flinching from Leah's touch and they instantly become worried.

Zilpah Halstead and Patrick Halstead didn't even see to care, and this made Jay very sad.

Leah said," I love you too, babe. Feed them.

Jay fed Caleb Halstead, Daphne Halstead, Derek Halstead, Frankie Halstead, Melena Halstead, Jeremy Halstead, Luisa Halstead and Will Halstead milk in a baby bottle, burped them, changed their diapers, put clean diapers on them and dressed them in cute onesies and carried them downstairs.

Jay said," Babies are all fed, burped, changed, and dressed in adorable onesies.

Leah said," That's good to hear. Can some of your siblings hold the babies?

Jay said," Sure. Let me get the babies for my siblings, Leah, babe.

Jay hands Caleb to Aiden, Daphne to Zilpah, Derek to Rachana, Frankie to Tanner, Melena to Enzio, Jeremy to Ernesto, Luisa to Erica and Will to Ariel.

He talked with his wife, his dad, and other siblings for a little bit and became tired.

Leah noticed Jay becoming tired and putting Jay on her lap, and he laid his head against her shoulder and Hyacinth, Izzy, Thomas, and Patrick headed home to their own homes. Aiden Halstead, Zilpah Halstead, Rachana Halstead, Tanner Halstead, Enzio Halstead, Ernesto Halstead, Erica Halstead, and Ariel Halstead put the babies in their respective cribs and head home.

Leah smiled and carried Jay upstairs and gave him a bath, dressed him in PJ'S and puts him under the covers and she gets a shower, dressed in PJ'S and headed to bed.

Hyacinth said," I don't like Leah. She hurts him all the time, and it's making me angry and want to hurt her. Zilpah and dad don't seem to care that Leah keeps hurting Jay.

Aiden said," I don't like it either, Hyacinth.

Izzy said," There's nothing we can do, sis.

Rachana said," I'll tell Jay to divorce her.

Erica said," It won't work. He's afraid of her.

Enzio said," What about kidnapping him? I know it's extreme, but it's our best option.

Ernesto said," Hell no. That's not happening.

Ariel said," What about sibling day with Jay?

Thomas said," That's actually a great Idea. We could drive him to the police academy, the park, or anywhere he needs to go, really.

Zilpah said," Or we can leave the couple alone. Leah is not hurting Jay. She loves him.

Hyacinth said," That's bullshit. We all know it. She constantly hits Jay all the time. So stop covering for her. She needs to leave.

Patrick said," Kids, Zilpah is right on this.

Thomas said," No, she's not dad. She's wrong. Hyacinth is right about this. Leah is hurting Jay, and we need to put an end to it.

Patrick then slapped Thomas and left the living room and headed to bed for the night.
