Texas pov: As long as I can remember My dad has always been very protective of me and my siblings, he always warned us about this man named Third Reich and how dangerous he is. My dad is a great father and even though he's a single father to all of us, we never make it easy for him, especially Florida and I, Florida and I are partners in crime. Florida and I pull pranks together, get in trouble together and even though him and I like to be chaotic neither of us ever leave the forest.
One night Florida, Oklahoma, Alabama, DC, Hawaii, California and I were all playing truth or dare in my room, everything was going well, and we all were picking truth, once when Alabama asked me "Truth or Dare?" I said, "I chose Dare." the other states and DC were surprised that I chose dare. Alabama said, "I dare you to exit the forest for 24 hours." The room went Silent, and my face went pale, the room was filled with awkward silence until DC said "Texas, you can't leave the forest, dad says that it's too dangerous for us." Florida retorts saying "DC stop being such a stick in the mud. Texas Don't be a chicken." DC and Florida started arguing. When I stood up the 4 of them looked at me as I walked to the window, open my dark blue wings, open the window, behind me I heard DC's protests as I jumped out. (Foreshadowing, I wish I listened to DC and never left. foreshadowing over).
As I walked through the woods, I regrated leaving more and more but I was too far into it. When I reached the edge of the forest, I saw that the streets were empty. After about an hour of walking down the streets, I saw a tall muscular figure in the distance and when the figure started chasing me, I ran.
