It was quite awhile since Faye strated strolling the street, and her feet are getting hurt when she saw this glimmering sign board 100 meters away from her.

"So much for being stupid for not using your car Faye Peraya." she grunts and entered the coffee shop. She was in her usual white shoes, black pants, white shirt and a jacket
She was welcomed by the smell of coffee, she smiled as she started to make an order. The ambiance and the warm surroundings of the place made her heart to flutter.
"One Latte please" she gave the barista a smile
"To go ma'am?" the barista responded with the same smile
"No" the barista nodded
"You can pay here and I'll just call your name. What's your name ma'am? "
"Faye" Faye smiled and payed for her coffee and look around and she found a spot.
She was about to take a step when the barista called her
"We have a good place upstairs ma'am. If you'd like, I can take you there" The barista smiled showing her famous smile
"Really?"
"Yes ma'am? And I could take your coffee later"
"Is that okay?"
"Yes" the barista smiled
"Oki. Please lead the way "
The barista nodded and walk towards the spiral stairs ascending upstairs.
It was a tiring walk but it was worth it when she saw the place. The second floor was far different than the first floor. It was full of flowers, there's a hanging chair, the yellow lights that's giving a warm vibes bellow.
"Wow" Faye was amazed
"Please choose your spot ma'am. You coffee will be served in a minute." the barista gestures for her to enter and made her way downstairs
"Hmmm" she breathe and released it a bit louder
A pale woman on the corner raised her head when she heard someone's presence. She was wearing a specs and she's obviously reading something in her tablet. She looked intimidating, she's wearing a Lady suit in a black color. And you can't see her when you're entering the place because of the flowers behind her
"There's a lot of table, maybe I should sit near the edge" Faye made her way not aware of someone's stares
Faye looked up to the sky when she sat down on the single couch while leaning her back comfortably. She tried to count the starts that are visible.
She thought she's the only one there when she started singing.
"Ma'am, Your latte" the server interrupted her
"Thank you so much" Faye gave her smile that she rarely showed
The server smiled and started walking away
"Why are you calling me this late? Make sure this is worth my time" the pale woman on the corner suddenly talk in her cold voice
Faye was startled that made her to jump and held her chest
"Shit!" she cursed under her breath "I thought it was just me, I even sang loudly" she whispered feeling embarrassed
The pale woman turned head to her direction., Faye couldn't read her. The woman is still on her phone
"We'll talk tomorrow at the office. Don't disturbed me until you saw my face" she said coldly and drop the call and turned her attention to Faye who was startled by her voice
"My apologies for scaring you miss." she said blankly
"N-no. It's fine" Faye gave her a small nod and smiled a little
"If you say so" she replied and focused back on her tablet. She crossed her legs with elegance and adjusted her glasses
"Unbelievable" Faye muttered under breath
She checked her wrist, her eyes widen when she realized the it was already late. She enjoyed her new found place too much not remembering she needs to go home.
She hurriedly open her bag and put her laptop back and immediately left the place.
The pale woman was low-key observing her every move. She also called her driver and told him to fetch her when she saw that tall woman was panicking indicating that it's already late.

"Hey mom. I'm sorry, I lost track of time" she kissed her mother's cheek
"It's very late already, where have you been?"
"I kinda lost my direction when strolling and found this very beautiful Café around the neighborhood. I stayed there the whole time and edited some of my works hehe" she explained
"What if something bad happened to you? You're still a woman Faye" her mother said
"Mom. I can kick well" she joked but her mother slapped her arm
"You're giving me a headache you kid"
"I'm always careful mom" she kissed her mother's cheek and said goodnight
Her mother shakes her head, and looked at her daughter's back going upstairs.
"I don't know what I'll I do if something bad will happen to you" her mother said with worry
