As the days passes by, Yoko found herself being comfortable around the handsome woman. She couldn't understand what she's feeling but she's willing to discover.
It's been a month since the incident happened, since then they became close. They started sitting on Faye's table near the edge of the terrace.
And now Yoko arrived with her baby blue polo tucked inside her black slacks with a pair of pointed white heels."It's already 7 pm and she's still not here" she checked her watch and sat on the couch with her back facing the door
Yoko closed her eyes when she remembers her grandmother from her father's side. The old woman was her only companion when she was still a child, her grandma would tell her a bed time story before sleeping.
"I miss you so much lala" a tear fell on her face
Yoko pulled out her phone and dialed her Lala's number.
[Hello?] A voice of an old lady spoke from the other line in Chinese
"Lala, it's me" yoko responded with a sad voice
[ Yobao, why does your voice sounds like that?] The old lady asks her
"Nothing, I just missed you so much. I was thinking on going home" she replied and wiped her tears
[ Are you sure? it's been 15 years already but are you sure you can handle it? ]
"I don't know Lala. But I've been feeling just fine so maybe I can handle it when I get there" she smiled
[ I'm just here waiting for you, and oh your cousins was asking me how you were and if you're planning on going back home ]
"I will think about it, maybe next year or after 6 months "
[ If you say so, come home quick. There's something I need to give you]
"What is it Lala?"
[ It's a surprise, I found it inside the drawer near the window inside your room the next morning after you left when I was cleaning your. I forgot to tell you ]
"You're so full of surprises. I'm getting excited" she laughed and crossed her legs
[ You know me ] the old woman joined laughing
Yoko was about to talk when the door made a sound indicating that someone has arrived. She turned her head and found Faye leaning on the door holding two mugs with her bag on her shoulders
Faye walked slowly, she gave Yoko's coffee and sat beside her"Who's that?" Faye made a calling sign with her fingers on her mouth and ears whispering
"Grandma" yoko replied in the same tone of voice
Faye nodded and sip here coffee while opening her laptop revealing her work that she's going to edit"Uh, Lala. Do you remember the place I told you before? Do you think it's still there?"
[ Oh, I don't know. I will ask my maid later to check it okay?]
"Thank you Lala"
[Anything for my Yobao and please come home soon]
"I definitely will but I need to hang up now Lala"
[Okay dear I love you]
"I love you too Lala" Yoko ended the call with a smile on her face
Faye turned her attention to her
"It's very rare for me to see you smile like that miss CEO " Faye teased
"Oh stop it. It's my grandma and I missed her so much" yoko pinched her
