Chapter 13: Nightmares

They sat at the table as they ate the delicious food that Tsunami, and surprisingly also Naruto, had made. Kakashi was uncinsiously laying on the floor above them in a room for himself. Tsunami had welcomed them lovingly, but her son they had just met at the table for dinner. Hae hadn't said a single word since their arrival.

The 'three' genin, Tsunami and Tazuna was chatting away while Inari, the little boy who was Tsunami's son, was eating silently. Naruto kindly helped clean up the dirty dishes while Sasuke and Sakura was setting up their futons in their assigned rooms. Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi was assigned to one room together while Sakura was sharing a room with Tsunami, Inari was of course sleeping in his own room and Tazuna had taken it upon himself to just settle down on the couch in the livingroom.

Naruto walked up to his room after finishing helping cleaning up and did his evening routine before settling down into his bed. He already knew it was going to be impossible for him to sleep, so he hadn't bothered changing clothes as he had decided to go out to train. As the two other males laying in the room had steady and calming breaths, the blond stood and walked outside, well not exactly walked but more like jumped out of the window.

Walking through the forest, he found a clearing. Some roocks and two trees was scattered around in the clearing, but there probably didn't exist a perfect clearing. He settled down on the soft grass and close his clear blue ocean eyes and meditated for one and a half hours.

He opened his eyes and stood up. He began training his taijutsu making hundreds of clones to train with, the other Naruto's attacking him restlessly. He dodged the best he could and attacked with kicks, jabs, punches and whatnot. The first hundred clones didn't attack at full power, but as another hundred clones began to attack, their assults got faster and stronger. His training continued like that for almost three hours until he decided to go back.

It was around two in the night when he finally walked into the house again, well then again he didn't walk but jumped inside the house through the window and into his room once he had made sure everyone was asleep. His teammates's and sensei's breaths was slow and heavy indicating that they were in fact asleep.

The clone he had made were laying on the futon assigned for Naruto himself. It poofed out of existence, no smoke or sounds were made, once the blond boy jumped inside. He layed down, his head turned to Sasuke who was laying up against the wall with his futon, Kakashi sleeping on the other side of the blue eyed.

The black haired boy had begun shaking every once in a while about an hour ago and the other boy had noticed it right away when he had landed in the room, even before then when he sensed if anyone was awake.

Just then the shaking boy shot up gasping loudly, sweat sticking to his body. He frantically looked around, relief coursed through him when he saw that there wasn't any blood and dead bodies on the ground and splattered onto the walls. His shoulders fell into place and a sigh full of relief was let out of his mouth.

He rubbed his sweaty face and let out another shaky sigh. Onyx eyes looked around the room once again and he tried to stand up, but his legs buckled under him and almost made him fall. Luckily strong arms wrapped his back and waist.

"Easy there."

Sasuke snapped his head up to look at Naruto, and he immediately noticed how close their faces were. "Shut up," he said as his face heated up with a temperature so high and intense that it made him very uncomfortable, though he still tried to surpress it as much as he possibly could. Unfortunetly he hadn't hidden it well enough for the other to not notice, but Naruto decided to not comment on it as he rather help Sasuke get better.

"Nightmare?" "...yeah." "You need any help? Like with anything at all?" He glanced worridly at the black haired. Flashes of the horrible past plastered onto his mind and he felt a strong need to throw up. He tried to push it back and luckily the other noticed and faslty brought him to the toilet on their floor.
