ANBU Naruto: Long Term Fucked Up Mission

Chapter 11: New Mission

Sakura grumbled as much as her stomach did. She had bern the one to be tied to the stumb, and she was really not enjoying it. She was the one who git tied because of not showing her skills while the two boys had, and not even being able to break the genjutsu. Her stomach growled once again as she looked up at Kakashi with the 'two' other genin.

Since they hadn't gotten the two bells from Kakashi, he said they were alliwed another after eating. "You all did very well against an jonin like me, and you worked together which really impressed me. Remember this: in the ninja world those who break the rules are scum, but those who would abandon their friends are worse than scum. Now don't feed Sakura any food at all or you will fail." He poofed away leaving 'three' genin shocked, one only pretending.

Sasuke began eating his lunch while Naruto took some rice and lifted it up to the pink haired girl's mouth. "Eat." Saskura looked at him shocked, but hen composed herself. "Sensei said that you aren't allowed to feed me and I'm really not that hungry anyway." The blue eyed boy ignored her and stuffed the food into her mouth. "Well he also said to work together and we can't have a hungry teammate work with us since you would more likely get in the way than actually help us."

He took some of the fish and put the fish in her mouth. She began chewing though still slightly hesitant to eat the food as her sensei had forbid her so. Surprising Sasuke and Sakura, Naruto just eating his food and bot even looking up, by poping up out of the blue, a thunder cloud above his head, Kakashi looked at the three of them angrily.

"YOUUUUU... pass," he eye smiled at them as he stood up from his bend over posture. "WHAT?!" Sakura screamed out into the man's face. "You pass," he repeated. "Salura, please refrain from screeching so you don't make us all deaf." They all heard Naruto grumble put his sentence, food gone from his box having filled his stomach. The green eyed girl was about to say something qgain when she felt the ropes sround her body loosen and fall to the ground, pooling at her feet. She then saw Naruto with a kunai knife out, putting it back intonhis kunai pouch fastened on his leg.

He stoid up and habded his now empty box to his black eyed sensei. "Thank you for the food," Naruto said, gaining another eye smile from the silver haired male. "No problem. Meet me at the Hokage Tower tomorrow at nine in the morning for our first mission."

They had just catched Tora the Cat, the infamous mission that was notorious being hell. Catchibg a cat that keept scraching you wasn't easy, although for tem seven it was a piece of cake since Naruto and animals had always been good friends. He had gently lured the evil cat closer and had then begun to gently stroke her fur.

When they had returned he had told the owner, Madam Shijimi, the wige of the Fire Daimyo, how to properly hold a cat, since he saw how she almost squished the cat to death. She had thanked him and went along her day while team seven got anothet D-rank mission to complete; having to help some old farmer plant his seeds into the ground, and after having completed the task another came, which was luckily for them the last D-rank for the day. They went home qnd did whatever they wanted the rest if the day.

It had been almost two months since they started doing their missions and it had become rather boring for the entire tram, mostly the 'three' genin as Kakashi often sat down and read throughout the entire mission. He had also begun to teach the team about the life as a ninja, chakra and teamwork, though the latter one was one they worked the most on. The three pre teens had been getting along more than innthe academy, even Sasuke if just slightly had begun to talk more.

They were now in the mission office, the Hokage having decided to stay the day at the mission office instead of his own, the paperwork having become too much for him. "Can we get a C-rank mission instead of the D-rank chores we get?" Naruto asked as the stood before the Third Hokage of the Village Hidden in the Leaves. "Naruto!" Iruka who had a day of from the academy scolded him, beginning to tell the boring stuff about how the mission were devided, that they all already knew having been told that many times before.

When Iruka finished talking he looked up to see the team he was talkkng to listening to Naruto's tale about a cat that had jumped into his litle appartment injured and how he healed it. Apparently it had taken a liking to the blonde and sometimes came over to the apparent he lived in, and it the littke story was far more interesting than the borings of mission divisations. Even the old Hiruzen listened to the story.

Iruka sighed and smiled fondly up at the team vefore telling them to listen to the old Hokage. The Sarutobi looked at Kakahso who said that they were ready for a ,-rank in his own speacial way. Hiruzen then began to explain the mission. "You will be escorting a bridge builder from the Land of Waves back to his home town. You will protect him from harm on the way. Send him in."

A drunk man was seen walking into the mission office of Konohagakure. He was wearing a dark brown sleeveless V-necked shirt, purpleish obi, a white towel draped around his neck, a backpack on his back, thin white rope tied around his head, light brown pants and a bottle of sake in his left hand, a drunken blush covering cheeks. He was leanibg against the door's frame.

He looked up at the ninja that was going to protect him and was shocked. Three children and a lazy man stood and looked at him. Well the children were looking at him while the sikver haired male was standing up and reading a orange coveed book.

"What is this?" He slurred as he looked at team seven, disbelieve showing clearly as the day in his black eyes. "How're three children and a single man going to protect me?!" Naruto noticed the slight hint of panic in the voice of the drunken man. "They all look like they couldn't even hurt a fly."

Before anyone could have a say in the matter, a kunai could be heard with a thud as it rammed into the doorframe the drunk man was leaning up against. It was only millimetres away from his face and he looked shocked and slightly terrified at the team. They all looked at Naruto who still had his arm streched out in front of him indicating that it had been him ho had thrown the kunai at the door frame.

"Did you heh just insult me and my team?" The dangerous arua that surrounded team seven made the man take a step back. Sasuke held a dangerpus smirk on his scowæing face, Sakura having a way too sweet and terrifying smileadorning her face along with a tick mark on her forhead while Kakashi stood with eye smile that meant danger, his book in his pouch which did not mean anything good would come his the man's way from his side.

"A-anyway I-I expect you to protect me with your life. My name is Tazuna by the way." Naruto's eyes ever so slightly narrowed at the man's words. There was the slight hint fright in his voice that should not ever have been ther. He was scared even though it was only a C-rank and no one should be acting like that if it was only a C-rank. Something suspicious was clinging to their client, and as the curious ANBU that he was, and wanting to figure out if it was more than one white lie about the rank of the mission, he desperately wanted to figure out the man and the mission.

They left the office having been told to meet the Tazuna at gate tomorrow at six in the morning so they only had to travel for one day. Kakashi had told them to pack for two weeks as they also had to protect him while also building the bridge, the Hokage having told Kakashi's team after the little episode.

Naruto was walking home while thinking about his mission. He knew that the Land of Waves was under Gato, a multi millionaire, drug dealer, shipping magnant and slave dealer's ruling. He thought that perhaps Tazuna only had money for a C-rank since the entire country was very short on money. The bridge was probably made because then they didn't have to be overcharged by using Gato's shipping company, and theb they could buy products from the main land.

Well, he just had to be ready for anything on his next mission.
