ANBU Naruto: Long Term Fucked Up Mission

Chapter 16: Attack

They had trained the day before and they were all exhausted by climbing in trees, but they had all managed to get to the top, Naruto faking how hard it was. Naruto and Sasuke came in later than their sensei and teammate having climbed half the night.

Naruto had Sasuke arm over his shoulder half carrying him. As they ate, Inari sat in his room thinking not wanting to be close to the blond. He had thought a lot about what Kakashi had said and felt kinda bad about yelling at Naruto, but he didn't want to apologise,so he sat alone in his room, a plate of food at his side.

The other chatted away and Naruto helped Tsunami with the cleaning even though she insisted not to. Kakashi was in their room reading his perverted books while giggling. He was stillsurprised by the fact that Naruto was a chakra sensor and had recognised his chakra as the one of an ANBU member that had protected him as a child.

Sasuke was reading a scroll about fire jutsu and Sakura, who surprisingly wasn't worshipping Sasuke, was reading a scroll about medical ninjutsu. It had gotten late when they all finally stopped reading, Naruto having pulled out a scroll about sealing jutsu after helping Tsunami.

They all got ready for sleep and laid down on their futon in their assgined rooms. Naruto quickly kissed Sasuke on the cheek while Kakashi was in the bathroom and Sasuke 'tch'ed with a red face and turned around to face the other way while Naruto snickered.

"Good night Sasuke." "Hn. Night idiot."

Naruto woke up at 05:08 and streched. He looked at his sleeping teammates and went downstairs and began making food. Then he woke up his team and Tazuna without waking the mother and son. He had taken a little amount of food for thm and placed on the kitchen counter for later when they awoke.

They ate and made their way to the bridge, it having been a week since the day Zabuza attacked. They were all on high alert and wanted to protect Tazuna even though had lied. For safety reasons, if Gato sent someone after his family, Naruto had placed a shadow clone at the house.

When they arived, they immediately knew that Zabuza were there, a thick fog covering the bridge with all the early workers unconciously lying on the ground. Naruto had felt the chakra and had warned the all of the approaching danger.

As they walked out onto the bridge, all of them weary, Naruto's shadow clone had already bound the thugs who had tried taking Tsunami hostage. The were both unconcious and the shadow clone sealed them into a scroll before saying goodbye and dispersing into nothing. But not after talking to Inari.

On the bridge, the team was standing before Zabuza and his accomplice. Naruto spread his senses wide, feeling something nearing and he was of course right. Nearing them from the land was lots of thugs and lowlevel ninja they were long ways from the bridge, but they were coming for them.

Nauto let out an annoyed sound and informed Kakashi. "There's a lot of thugs and lowlevel ninja heading our way from the mainland I think Gato's with them. There's over one hundred." "Well," the sensei said as he looked at the wielder the Executioners Blade. "This is going to take a little while."

Then he ran at the rogue ninja. His kunai clashed with the larger blade as Naruto didn't waste any time to charge at Haku with high speed, though not at his fastest yet. Haku blocked the katana with his senbon and they both jusmped back.

"Hi Haku." "Hello Naruto." Sakura's eyes widened along with Sasuke's. "You know him naruto?!" Sakura yelled to Naruto. "We met the other say in the forest and I recognised his chakra." "Why didn't you try to capture him?" She looked at Naruto accusingly.

He didn't answer but instead evaded the senbon thrown at him and countered with three kunai knives that Haku easily dodged. They clashed over and over again, their speed high that it was difficult to see other things than their blurry bodies.
