The Love Rival

Chapter 4

Miku's POV:

Kaito and I walk to class silently. I glanced over to look at his profile, he looked so calm and collected. As we walked his blue hair swayed in every step he took. I don't know why, but I never really noticed the deep shade of blue his eyes were. Why did I just notice now? We've been friends ever since the beginning of high school.

~ Flashback ~

About a year after I graduated middle school, when I just entered high school, I still couldn't get Len out of my head. Due to the fact I was lost in thoughts, I wasn't looking at where I was going and bumped into someone. I had fallen to the floor and dropped all my books. I looked up to see a girl with blond hair. From what I've heard was that her name was Neru. She gave me a cold glare. "Watch where your going, newbie," she turned around, and walked away.

People around me started whispering, mumbling, and some even laughing. As I started to pick up my books again, I noticed a blue haired male reach his hand out to me. "Are you okay?" he asked. I nodded in reply and gently took his hand and stood up. His hand so warm and nice, it almost made me feel comfortable. I gazed into his blue eyes as he gazed into mine.

I soon snapped out of it and introduced myself . "I'm Miku Hatsune. Nice to meet you..." I waited for him to state his name. "O-oh. Um, it's K-Kaito. Kaito Shion," he stuttered. He had a faint blush on his cheek, I could feel that I was blushing as well. "Well, Kaito. I have a feeling that I'll be seeing you around more often," I said before smiling at him and walking away, brushing my shoulder against his.

~ End of Flashback ~

We soon arrived at the music room, Kaito, being the gentleman he is, open the door for me. "After you," he said gesturing me into the room. I couldn't help but giggle at his silliness as I walked into the room. He followed after me and sat down beside me.

Len's POV:

"Alright, my next class is music..." I  mumble to myself at my locker. "Really? Me too!" I heard a voice yelling excitedly behind me. I jumped in shock as I heard a familiar voice giggle. I turn around to find Rin smiling brightly at me. "Oh, It's just you Rin," I sighed of relief. Rin nodded.

"Do you know where the music room is?" I questioned her. she replied with another nod. "Follow me Len-Kun," she said cheerfully as she led me to the music room. W-wait a minute, did she just call me Len-Kun?!

We keep walking until we reach the room, we both walked in. I took a seat beside Rin. I looked around the room and just happened to spot Miku. she was there sitting beside a boy with blue hair. I've heard about him before. His name is Kaito Shion. I heard he was on the captain of the swim team, while Miku was co-captain.

The two of them talked together and Miku even laughed at some of his jokes! I've NEVER heard her laugh before yet I knew her before him. Why am I feeling like this? Could it be that I'm jealous? No! I would never get jealous! Oh, who am I kidding! Yes, I am jealous. I glance over at the two of them discussing what ever they're discussing, glaring a bit at Kaito.

Looks like I have a new love rival...

Len/Miku/Kaito: Took you long enough...
