Chapter 5

Kon'nichiwa minna! ^_^  Chapter 5 is FINALLY out! If any of you guys have any ideas on what should do next then please comment. Anyways, on with the story!

Kaito's POV:

As I talk to Miku I get the slight feeling of someone watching us. I quickly glance over Miku's shoulder and see a boy with blond hair glaring slightly at me. For some reason his hair style reminds me of a bunch of bananas. Well, who am I to judge? I mean, I have blue hair for crying out loud. I stick out of the crowd like a sore thumb.

As I observe his face more I come to realize the he's the new student. Len, I believe it was - Len Kagamine. Hmm, he has the same last name as Rin, he also looks like her. Wait. Could it be that they're maybe...twins?!

Noticing my glances, Len adverts eyes and turns away. While me on the other hand, was lost in my own thoughts. Soon, I see a hand wave in front of my eyes a couple times. "Hello~? Earth too Kaito?" I heard Miku's voice say. I shake my head to forget my thoughts and turn to face her, putting my thoughts aside. She had worried expression on her face. "Hey, Kaito? Are you okay?" She asked slightly tilting her head to the side.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just, you know..." I said trailing off. "Lost in thoughts again?" She questioned. "Yeah," was my only reply. "Same old Kaito," Miku mumbled. "Hey! I'm not old! For your information I'm only 17! Just like you! I'm totally not old and won't be for a while!" Miku laughed at my pointless rambling and childishness. "You baka," she said smiling."You really never change."

"I probably never will either," I smiled back. We continued talking, joking around, and, well being just stupid us. I kept on getting jealous glares from Len. What's up with him? The room turns silent when the teacher steps into the room, everyone takes out their notebooks.  The teacher takes attendance, turns out Gumi isn't here today, strange, normally Gumi's here everyday. After attendance, we were assigned a project instantly. The project was that you were partnered up with someone and were to make a duet with them and sing in front of the class. Sounds easy right? Well, not if you partner won't do a damned thing.

In other words, my partner was Len. Not that I didn't like him or anything, it's just the other way around. I have no idea what I did wrong to make him feel this was toward me. Am I just being stupid and the answer for his hatred right in front of me? Or does he just hate me for who I look like? I shrug off my thoughts and start writing down my ideas for the duet.

Minutes later I find myself looking around the room. Noticing Miku and Rin in front of us working hard, I look over to Len. He seems to be focused on Miku than his work. "Hey, Len. You have any ideas for our duet?" I ask out of the blue. He slowly turns his head over to me. Expecting him to answer I wait patiently. Instead of an answer I get glare full of hatred. Woah! Where'd that come from! I turned my head away to avoid the look he was giving me. "S-scary..." I mumble to myself.

Len suddenly gets up and walks over to the teacher's desk. "Excuse me Miss. Shizuka, I would like a new partner," he said with an emotionless face. "Why d-" the teacher was cut off by Len saying: "K-Kaito's not being nice to me," Len said as he shredded a fake tear. Damn, he's dramatic, dramatic enough to join the Ouran High School Host Club. W-wait. Did he just say I wasn't being nice to him? We barely even talked. That little bastard!

Len's POV:

I used all my charm on the teacher just to convince her for me not to work with Kaito anymore. The good thing to that I just said that loud enough for the class to hear me, I glance back and see the whole class is looking at Kaito. I smirked at Kaito, I made sure no one else but him saw. His shocked expression was priceless, it almost made me want to laugh my ass off. This for sure will make Miku dislike him a bit.

"Fine," I heard Miss. Shizuka say, "Miku, Rin. I'm sorry to interrupt your work," she said. Both Miku and Rin turn to Miss. Shizuka. Yes, now I have a chance to be with Miku. I smiled a bit at the thought of me and Miku together. "Rin, you are now partners with Len, Miku you're with Kaito," she said then returned to her work. Damn, plan backfired. My smile slowly faded as I walked over to sit beside Rin. When I sat down Rin gave me a smile. "Let's get to work!" she said cheerfully. I just nodded.

Kaito's POV:

I watched as Len's smile turned into his pokerface. I finally understand now, his feeling are all of a suddenly so obvious. Len likes Miku. Miku started walking over to me. "Looks like were partners now," I say giving her a warm smile. "Yep this is going to be fun!" Miku said excitedly.

Both Len's  & Kaito's POV:

The period ended quickly, I walked out of class. I stood at my locker and glared over at my love rival.
