Mingyu felt the bed shift beside him, a soft sigh leaving his mouth as he shifted to lay on his side. He opened his eyes slowly, the morning light burning his eyes when he did. His vision cleared eventually, his eyes landing on a pile of soft curls decorating the pillow next to him. His eyes traveled until they landed on his best friend who was still fast asleep, his pouty lips letting out loose breathes as he slept. He was beautiful, Mingyu didn't know why that observation scared him. It felt wrong to call the man beautiful, regardless of how gorgeous he truly was. It was like he was openly admitting his attraction towards Wonwoo, and that made one harsh truth evident. He was gay, or at least bisexual. It wasn't new to him, he knew that Seokmin and Vernon were gay. But it felt different knowing it was him that was gay, it just felt wrong.
He moved his body up gently, his strong arms holding him in place for a moment while he sighed once more. He leaned down before planting a light kiss on Wonwoo's forehead, pulling back with a sad smile on his face. He then carried his body around until his feet creaked on the wooden floor, halting his movements for a moment. When it was clear Wonwoo was still fast asleep he continued, picking up his discarded clothes from the floor before lazily dressing himself with them. He then grabbed Wonwoo's clothes and folded them, moving to place them on the foot of his bed. He turned and made his way out his friends room, shutting the door lightly behind him. He felt shitty leaving Wonwoo after he took his first time, but he just needed time to process his emotions. It's kinda mind fucking to go from being straight as a pole to fucking a dude who happens to be your best friend. Yeah, kinda complicated.
He almost threw the front door open before making his was to his car, slamming the metal shut as he started his car. He didn't know where he was going but knew leaving Wonwoo's house was a good start. He pressed the gas and sped off, his hair lightly blowing in the wind when he lowered his windows. The breeze cooled the growing migraine he felt spreading in his head, all the questions and feelings tangling up into a big ball of pain. He felt his teeth clamp down on his lip to stop the pain but it only added to it, his stinging head now accompanied by his burning lip. He found himself driving by his favorite ice cream shop, his growling stomach forcing him to pull into the little driveway. He knew he was going to be late for school but the idea of sinking his teeth into some mint chip ice cream overpowered his responsible side. Eh, he's always late anyways.
Mingyu sighed contemptly as he licked his cone free of any remaining ice cream. Yep, this was definetly worth it. He didn't care that he was going to get an ear full of 'you need to be more responsible' s, he was use to it by now. Except they usually came from a certain curly haired boy and not his teachers. He would let Wonwoo tell him off anyday, the thought only causing him to let out a loud groan. God he was so fucking whipped. He tried to think of when these... feelings started evolving but his mind wasn't working. Every time he asked when he started finding Wonwoo attractive he realized that he always did, but it was just more low key. Not in a ' I need to jump his bones' but more of a ' damn my best friend is kind of hot' way. He let the ice cream settle in his stomach with a soft sigh, leaning against the head board of his car seat. He watched the couple across from him, joking around as they ate their ice cream cones together, a deep feeling growing in his stomach while he did. He had never had that kind of moments with anyone before, he always told himself he didn't even need them but lately he felt himself craving them.
Maybe helping Wonwoo with his flirting opened up a side of Mingyu that he's never visited before. The side that actually wanted to care for people and not fuck and dip. He lightly shook his head and sighed, his eyes falling onto his watch. It was time for him to go to school, or at least pretend to go. He always ended up wandering the halls or flirting around during classes. He was never a good student, that was Wonwoo's job. Nope, stop it. No more Wonwoo talk, Mingyu needed to figure his own shit out. And then he can address just what the hell he is going to do about Wonwoo.
