I reluctantly surrendered my name, my voice tinged with resignation. "Fine," I muttered, "I'm Amelia." He responded with a satisfied nod, he took ahold of my wrists as he called out to his companion for the cloth. The cloth was handed over, and I knew that resistance was futile. He held my wrists firmly while pressing the cloth over my mouth. The scent of chemicals quickly slipped me into an unconscious state.

*around three hours later*

As I slowly regained consciousness, I became aware of the hard, cold door at my back. My wrists and ankles were tightly bound, constricting my movements. Blinking my eyes open, I was suddenly faced with the realization of my situation: two men, sat before me, looking out onto the road as they drove. not noticing my awoken state yet.

I fought to stay awake despite the lingering effects of the mysterious liquid that had rendered me unconscious earlier. I did my best to stay vigilant, looking for any opportunity to escape if the chance presented itself. However, as I took in the unfamiliar surroundings, my hopes were dashed. We were clearly far away from familiar territory, likely in a remote countryside location where chances of escape seemed slim. Exhaustion tugged at me, the battle to stay awake intensifying with every passing moment.

After a brief period of silence, Mason (the one who failed the kidnapping) took notice of me being awake.
"She's up," he whispered.
Ezra responded with a simple, "Hmm." While still gripping the wheel with two hands.
"So, what's the plan?" Mason asked, glancing back at me.
Still recovering from the drowsiness caused by whatever drug they had used, I wasn't quite grasping the situation. Regardless, I couldn't shake off the intrigue as they discussed their plans.
"If she behaves herself, I suggest we keep her awake until we're around two hours away from base," Ezra stated.

A hush fell in the car as silence took hold. There was no point in speaking as I tried to process my situation, the questions burning in my mind. Why was I there? Where were they taking me? But fear held my tongue. I was too frightened to speak, not wanting to anger my captors and risk being punished, marked with more bruises or worse. So, I remained silent, the fear that held me captive as much as the rope around my wrists.

Kidnappers pov :
The drug wore off and she woke up. I didn't care as long as she woudln't be annoying. We had a long drive to go. 8 hours in total. Sadly the drug doesn't work for that long so we have to give it to her again when we're closer to home.. in case she screams for help when we leave the vehicle. We don't want anyone to notice her presence.

We had driven for about 3 hours so it was about time to drug her again. I stopped the car and got out.

Amelia's pov :
After being awake for what felt like an eternity, the vehicle came to a halt. There was a flicker of relief as I assumed we had reached our destination, but a quick glance out the window revealed otherwise – we were in an isolated location, surrounded by nothing but trees. Ezra exited the car and retrieved the cloth and a small bottle. Fear gripped me as I realized what was coming next.

A mixture of fear and desperation gripped me as I heard him return. With a swift movement, he placed his hand on the back of my head while pressing the cloth to my face, only my eyes sticking out from above. Despite my heart screaming at me to resist, fear held me tight in its grip. I knew I needed to escape, but I felt trapped. With no exit in sight and with nowhere to run, I let out a deep sigh, a resigned acceptance washing over me.

Already the second chapter out :)
I must say these first two were more like intro chapters, I'm planning on making the others longer since I find that more.... comforting to read.
