Y/N's breath caught as she took in the sights before her. The air was different here—crisper, charged with an energy that hummed in her veins.

The landscape around her was breathtaking and surreal, a wild, untamed forest stretching as far as she could see.

The trees towered above her, their trunks thick and ancient, with leaves that shimmered in shades of silver and gold under the Asgardian sky.

The ground was covered in a soft, mossy carpet, dotted with glowing flowers that pulsed with a soft, otherworldly light.

But there was an edge to the beauty, a sense of danger lurking just beneath the surface. The forest was alive with sounds—whispers in the wind, the distant squawk of a raven, and the rustle of leaves as something moved in the shadows.

Y/N's breath caught as she scanned her surroundings, trying to get her bearings. The necklace still shimmered faintly against her chest, its color shifting between a glacial blue and a bright, molten orange. It pulsed gently, as if guiding her—or perhaps warning her.

A sudden rustling to her right made her freeze. She turned slowly, her eyes widening as she caught sight of movement in the underbrush.

Her pulse quickened, a cold sweat breaking out on the back of her neck. The shadows seemed to shift and take form, and before she could fully process what she was seeing, the creatures emerged.

They were like nothing she had ever seen before—massive, wolf-like beasts with sleek, dark fur and glowing red eyes. Their fangs glinted in the pale light as they circled her, their low growls vibrating through the air. Y/N's instincts screamed at her to run, but her feet felt rooted to the spot.

Before she could fully comprehend what was happening, the largest of the beasts stepped forward, its predatory eyes locked onto hers. It snarled, a deep, guttural rumble that sent a chill down her spine.

Y/N's heart raced. She had no idea how to fight, no idea how to protect herself from something as savage and otherworldly as this.

But then, something deep within her stirred—a dual sensation, both searing heat and biting cold, that began to awaken from the very core of her being. At first, it was faint, like the flicker of a candle in the cold, but it grew stronger with each passing second.

The necklace's glow intensified, shifting between a glacial blue and a molten orange, and with it came a surge of power that was both exhilarating and terrifying, as if it had unlocked a dormant power, one that now surged through her veins with unstoppable force.

The fire ignited in her hands, crackling and sparking with a fierce intensity, while the frost seemed to emanate from her chest, spreading outward like a creeping frostbite.

The beast lunged.

Y/N reacted on instinct, raising her hands in a desperate attempt to shield herself. The dual sensations within her surged, and suddenly, a burst of frost erupted from one hand while fire blazed from the other.

The icy blast froze the creature mid-air, encasing it in a block of shimmering ice, while the fire engulfed another beast, its fur singed and smoking as it howled in pain.

The other beasts hesitated, their glowing eyes darting between Y/N and their incapacitated companions. Y/N's heart pounded, adrenaline flooding her system as she realized what she had just done.

The power—the frost and fire—it had come from her. But there was no time to process the shock. The beasts regrouped, snarling as they prepared to attack again.

A low growl reverberated through the air as the leader of the pack, a massive, hulking creature, prowled forward, its eyes locked on Y/N.

The dual sensations flared within her once more, but this time, they felt more volatile, almost out of control. The fear that had gripped her moments ago began to return, battling with the determination she had found.

The beast charged, and Y/N unleashed another desperate wave of frost and fire. The elements collided with the creature, but it pushed through, its sheer size and ferocity overcoming her hastily summoned defenses. Panic surged as the beast closed in, its maw open wide, ready to strike.

Y/N braced herself, the last of her energy draining away, when suddenly, a deafening crack split the air.

Lightning.

A bolt of pure, blinding energy struck the ground between Y/N and the beast, sending it sprawling backward with a pained roar. The air buzzed with electricity, and the remaining creatures scattered, their primal instincts recognizing a force far greater than their own.

Y/N barely had time to register what had happened before the ground trembled beneath her feet. A powerful gust of wind swept through the clearing, whipping her hair around her face.

She turned, her vision blurred by exhaustion and shock, and saw a figure descending from the sky, bathed in the afterglow of the lightning.

Thor.

He landed with a force that shook the earth, his presence commanding and awe-inspiring. His armor gleamed in the faint light, and Mjolnir, his legendary hammer, crackled with residual energy in his hand.

The power that radiated from him was palpable, a stark contrast to the vulnerability Y/N felt in that moment.

"Are you alright?" Thor's voice was deep, laced with concern as he approached her, his sharp blue eyes scanning the area where the beasts had fled.

Y/N could only nod, her body trembling from the aftereffects of the battle. The adrenaline that had fueled her moments ago was quickly fading, leaving her feeling weak and disoriented.

Thor's gaze softened as he looked at her, his expression a mix of curiosity and something else—recognition? "You fought bravely, but this place is dangerous. You should not be wandering alone."

Before Y/N could respond, her legs buckled beneath her, the toll of the night finally catching up to her. Thor was at her side in an instant, catching her before she could hit the ground.

His touch was surprisingly gentle, and for a brief moment, Y/N found herself leaning into his strength, the reality of what had just transpired sinking in.

"You are safe now," Thor reassured her, his voice a calming presence in the midst of her turmoil.

With little effort, Thor lifted her into his arms, cradling her as if she weighed nothing. Y/N felt her consciousness slipping away, the exhaustion overwhelming her.

The last thing she saw before darkness claimed her was the concerned look on Thor's face and the brilliant glow of the Asgardian sky, as the stars shimmered above them, a silent witness to the night's harrowing events.
