The year 5 first semester was slowly nearing it's end with the winter holidays approaching. Everyone was excited, everyone except Adeline. She still felt strange being here, staying at the school. It had always been a dream to study at Hogwarts, but as the time went by, she felt like it was more of a nightmare.

She had noticed a change at the school, the Gryffindor students no longer glared at her as she passed by, they no longer made snide comments or acted suspiciously. It seemed like they had gotten used to the new version of Malia. The strangest person was Harry Potter himself. Adeline had lost all hope of having a civil conversation with the boy who saves the Wizarding World, the one who had been her idol growing up. But right before everyone left for winter break, Harry walked past the girl, throwing her a quick remark, "I guess you'll be staying at the school as well. I guess I'll see you around."

The girls eyes went wide in shock. She had not expected such niceness from him or any other Gryffindor. Adeline had also assumed that the boy would be spending the holidays with Ron or Hermione, not staying back at school. But she nodded at his comment, trying to keep things civil between them, deciding it was better to not speak.

As everyone left, Adeline realized that she was the only Slytherin to stay back at school. There were only 7 students who stayed during the holidays, and it was her, Harry, two other Gryffindors, and two Hufflepuffs, as well as a lone Ravenclaw that Adeline did not know personally. In her eyes, Adeline was alone.

'Well,' she sighed, thinking to herself. 'This is no different than before. I've spent every Christmas alone without gifts. Not like anything would change just because I'm in a new body... But I am surprised that Malia's own family seem to not show any interest in the girl. And it's not like I can just ask others about my own relationship with my parents.'

She walked the quiet hall, her eyes gliding over all the small but beautiful intricacies of the Hogwarts castle. For a moment, she felt peaceful. And after walking for about an hour, enjoying the peace and calm, Adeline returned to her room, deciding to finally do what she should have done long ago. Write a diary. Trying to write down any details of her old life that she could remember, but not just that. She wrote everything she knew that was going to happen leading up to Voldemorts defeat. She wrote:

1. the Occlumency lessons Harry receives from Snape o protect his mind from Voldemort's influence;

2. the Gryffindor group faces Death Eaters in the Department of Mysteries, leading to a full-scale battle between the Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters;

3. Serius Black would die;

4. Voldemort reveals himself to the wizarding world at the Ministry of Magic, shattering the Ministry's denial of his return

5. Dumbledore would soon return to school, ending Umbridges reign.

Then she moved on to the events that would happen in year 6.

1. Harry finds an old Potions book with handwritten notes that greatly improve his performance in the class. The book once belonged to the "Half-Blood Prince"

2. The Golden Trio learning of Horcruxes;

3. Continuation of Dumbledore's army;

4. Harry and Ginny Weasley start dating after Gryffindor wins the Quidditch Cup;

5. Severus Snape makes an Unbreakable Vow with Narcissa Malfoy to protect Draco and complete his mission if Draco fails;

6. Draco Malfoy is tasked with killing Dumbledore and repairs a Vanishing Cabinet to allow Death Eaters into Hogwarts;

7. Death Eaters infiltrate Hogwarts, leading to a battle in which Dumbledore is confronted by Draco Malfoy and eventually killed by Snape;

8. Dumbledore is killed by Snape in the Astronomy Tower after being disarmed by Draco. Snape is considered evil by everyone, even though he is a double-agent.
