In the dimly lit Room of Requirement, Draco Malfoy worked feverishly on the Vanishing Cabinet. The air was thick with tension as he adjusted the final components, his movements precise and deliberate. The cabinet, once broken, was now fully repaired, standing tall and ominous. With a final incantation, the cabinet trembled, and the door swung open to reveal the dark figures of the Death Eaters. They filed in quietly, their faces concealed by their hoods, a silent testament to the gravity of their mission.

Meanwhile, Adeline ran all around the school, going after young muggle-born students, pulling them away to safety. Right as the infamous Death Eater, Antonin Dolohov, lifted his dark wand, pointing it at a small muggle-born Hufflepuff boy, Adeline cast a protective charm using non-verbal magic, saving the boy from Dolohov. She then ran, getting the child away from his shocked attacker, pulling the boy to safety where Professor Flitwick had been protecting a classroom full of younger students.

"Take him," Adeline pushed the boy into Hermione Granger's arms. "I'll be back." And she left the room again, in search for more students.

The scene shifted to the Astronomy Tower. Draco stood facing Albus Dumbledore, his wand pointed at the headmaster who he had already disarmed, the Elder wand flying across the room. The old wizard's face was calm, almost resigned, as he looked at Draco with a mixture of pity and understanding.

"You can't do this, can you, boy," Dumbledore said softly, his voice carrying a weight of sadness. "You're not a killer."

Draco's hand shook, the wand trembling in his grip. "I—I have to. It's the only way... He'll kill me if I don't..." His voice faltered, and he hesitated, unable to bring himself to strike the fatal blow.

"It is not so easy to take a life," the man said. "I know you, the boy who I've seen grow up and make all the wrong choices. But now you are a man. I see you for who you are. And you are not a killer."

Draco's eyes filled with conflict, tears shining in them and he slowly began to lower his wand, unable to complete his task, unable and unwilling to kill the headmaster.

At that moment, Severus Snape appeared at the top of the stairs, his dark eyes steely and resolute. Without a word, he stepped forward and raised his wand. Draco looked away, tears of frustration and fear streaming down his face.

"Severus," Dumbledore said, his voice a soft whisper, "you—"

Before he could finish, Snape uttered the Killing Curse, "AVADA KEDAVRA!" The green light shot from his wand, striking Dumbledore squarely. The headmaster's body crumpled to the ground, a look of surprise and resignation etched on his face as life left him. Bellatrix cheered and cackled, happy to see the old and wise man dead.

Harry Potter, hidden and watching from the shadows, witnessed the entire scene. His heart pounded in his chest as he saw the man he revered fall, and he struggled to comprehend the betrayal and the weight of the moment. As the echoes of the spell faded, the room fell silent, broken only by the heavy breathing of Draco and the ominous presence of the Death Eaters. Adeline ran around the school, looking for more children, her heart aching at the sight of the turmoil unfolding before her. The world seemed to spin around her as the implications of the night's events sank in.

Dumbledore was dead.

Time kept moving, like always. Snape was now made headmaster like in the books. Harry Potter had lost all trust in the man, moving the story forward, this was a vital point. Adeline then wrote in her diary all the events that would soon happen during the summer vacation out of her watch:

   1. Harry, Hermione, and Ron leave their families and embark on a mission to find and destroy Voldemort's Horcruxes. These dark magical objects are vital to Voldemort's immortality, and finding and destroying them is essential to defeating him.
