"SEVERUS!" Adeline's voice rang out through their house.

"WHAT, WHAT!" the man ran in, barely covered by a robe as he darted out from the shower, his hair still wet, dripping water to the tile in the kitchen.

"It's happening," Adeline said, holding her stomach as she leaned over the counter. "My water... it broke."

In the cozy, dimly lit confines of Snape's home, the air was charged with a blend of anticipation and anxiety. The old, enchanted clock on the wall ticked steadily as Severus Snape, his face set in a determined expression, moved about the house with frantic precision. He was gathering the necessary supplies for the birth of his twin daughters, using a combination of magic and muggle methods to prepare for the monumental occasion.

Adeline lay on a comfortable bed, her face flushed with effort and her breathing coming in heavy, rhythmic gasps. She gripped the sides of the bed tightly, her knuckles white with the strain. Snape, his wand flashing as he conjured and arranged items, darted to her side with a vial of pain-relief potion. His hands were steady as he administered the potion to Adeline, the soothing effect easing her discomfort and allowing her to relax, if only slightly.

The nurse from State Mundos, a calm and competent professional, bustled around the room. Her face was set in a serene mask of focus as she worked, advising Adeline against using potions not brewed in the hospital, but Adeline was resolute. "I trust Severus's potions more than any others," she insisted firmly. The nurse, recognizing the strength of her conviction, nodded in acceptance and continued her work, urging Adeline to push with gentle, encouraging words.

Snape held Adeline's hand tightly, feeling the incredible pressure as she squeezed his fingers with each contraction. He grimaced slightly at the pain, but his gaze remained tender and reassuring. His other hand wiped sweat from Adeline's brow, his heart pounding in rhythm with hers.

Then, as if the room itself held its breath, there was a sudden, piercing cry. The sound was followed by another, equally insistent. The twins had arrived. Adeline, her face glowing with exhaustion and elation, let out a relieved sob. Snape's face broke into a rare, joyous smile as he looked at his newborn daughters, his emotions almost too intense to describe.

"They're both... beautiful..."

Months passed... The chaos of new parenthood was in full swing. Snape, wearing a look of frazzled determination, dashed about the house with a full diaper in one hand and a small bundle in the other. The sounds of baby cries echoed through the rooms.

Adeline, now seated comfortably in a leather armchair, breastfed one of their daughters with a serene smile on her face, an empty bassinet nearby. Snape's exasperated voice carried through the house as he ran to the lavatory, carrying their other daughter, his frustration clear.

"How can one child poop this much? All they consume is milk!" he exclaimed, his voice tinged with disbelief. He added, "No magic will be able to clear out this smell! I know you are against it, but we may have to move!"

He ran over to the sink in their bathroom, placing his daughter inside as he tried to wash her carefully, the small girl still screaming. Snape then magically floated the child's full diaper into a waste basket as a new and clean one floated over to him.

Adeline's laughter bubbled up, light and carefree, as she watched him. The scene was a chaotic yet heartwarming tableau of their new life.

"We will never move," Adeline whispered, watching her daughter giggle as she stretched out in her arms.

Now a few years had passed... Snape was busy frantically chasing after his toddlers, their joyous giggles filling the house. Arabella and Alfira, dressed in a pink and a white dress respectively, darted around the room, their tiny feet pattering on the wooden floors. Snape, slightly out of breath, called after them in vain, "Arabella and Alfira, come back here!"
