F/N POV
It's been a year since Shiganshina was invaded and taken over by the titans. Me, Eren, Mikasa and Armin have been holding out fine because of my farther suddenly arriving not long after we arrived within wall Rose's
Because of him we manage to live out relatively comfy compared to most of the other refuges, but that stopped yesterday. My farther and Armins Grandpa were shipped out with 20% of wall Rose's population in some grand plan to take back wall Maria.
As much as it's killed me having my farther taken away to his possible death, I've managed to hold myself firm to look after Armin. Eren and Mikasa have been doing relatively okay after the long year we've had, but adding on my farther being taken away and Armins Grandpa... it's slowly falling apart, I'm slowly falling apart.
Right now Me, Eren and Mikasa were comforting Armin who was still crying after his Grandpa got shipped out with my farther. Mikasa has also been paying close attention to me a lot since it happened, and I couldn't be more happy knowing that she's looking out for me even when I play it off as me being fine.
F/N: Armin, I'm sure they'll come back.
Armin: H-How d-do you know t-t-that? H-h-he was the only f-family I h-have left.
Mikasa: That's not true Armin.
Armin and I looked at Mikasa who held a soft expression towards the soft boy. I smiled at her knowing what she was doing and going to say because I also felt the same way she did.
Armin: W-What do y-you mean?
Mikasa: Me, F/N and Eren are your family too Armin. We all look after each other, and we protect each other, right?
Armin looked between me and Mikasa as if he was trying to find a lie, but once he noticed we both felt the same way about all of being a sort of family for each other, his constant frown turned into a very small smile as he wiped away his tears.
Armin: I'm s-sorry. I just miss him so m-much.
I placed a hand in Armins shoulder and gave him a brotherly smile.
F/N: We know Armin, we all miss them both a lot.
Suddenly Armins face contorted to worry as he looked up at me before latching onto me with a hug.
F/N: A... Armin? What's wrong?
Armin: I'm so sorry... y-you're dad.... He was ta-taken as w-well... and a-all I've done is c-cry abo- about myself.
F/N: Hey, hey. It's okay Armin, vent as much as you need to, we're all here for yo-
Armin: But what about you? Don't you need to vent about it all as well? You can't keep it all locked up F/N.
I stared down at Armin in surprise. I've always known he was super smart and more mature for our age, but it seems I forgot how well he could read our emotions just by looking at us or seeing how we're acting.
F/N: Jeez Armin.... Do you have to expose how I'm feeling like that?
Mikasa: F/N, we're all here for you as well. Please talk to us if you need to.
Mikasa moved closer to us and held onto my left arm until she was resting her head on my shoulder.
F/N: Thanks guys... I'm sorry I haven't said much about how I'm f-feeling... I just... I don't know what to say a-about all of it... I miss my p-parents so much.
My voice started to crack as I spoke up. Mentioning my parents was something extremely heavy for me to talk about, my mother hadn't come back since the fall and now my farther had been taken away from me. I'm just glad I'm not alone, I have Mikasa, Armin and Eren here with me, and I'll make sure I protect them for the rest of my life.
