Chaptor 4 - Frozen, Cadet Corp! (Part 3)

1 year later!

It's been over a year since the incident with the kidnappers or Thief's what ever the fuck people want to call them. Anyway, we had a good amount of time off because of it, which was nice considering it allowed me and Historia to chill out and calm down after everything.

During the time off "Christa" told me her actual name, her names actually Historia Reiss. It's a very pretty name for someone as angelic as her, so it makes sense, plus I also found out she's actually a royal. Like she's a part of the royal family and all that jazz.

Anyway, Historia and I grew closer than we already were because of what happened to us, we both learned I can make weird white objects like spikes and knifes, and I learned her true name and family lineage... sorta, she told me she doesn't know the full details of everything apart from being a royal but I didn't really care about all that. She's still the same angelic girl from before.

Of course all the other cadets had learned about what happened to our group, including what nearly happened to Historia. I still don't know how they found out about that but they did, a lot of the cadets started calling me a hero because I killed those 2 monsters, but I'm pretty sure some people have started looking at me a bit differently. I don't really care that they're looking at me differently though, because Eren, Armin and Mikasa didn't change how they acted around me and they didn't try to coddle me because of it.

Now that I actually think about it, Mikasa has been a bit more clingy to me lately. Now I'm not saying I hate the fact she's been around me more and more as of late, but she's also been very strange towards certain people. Like Annie for example, Mikasa and her have been at each others throats a lot the past few months, and it's kinda worrying me that one of them might kill the other.

Speaking of Annie, she's been a lot nicer as of late. She actually talks to me now without all the snarky comments and she also had me sit with her a couple times during lunch, OH! And the best part, she's been teaching me her fighting style, and has it been hard to learn. But that's not all, she's been very close with me when we're alone, like she's opening herself up to me.

Now the next person isn't someone I thought I'd get as close to as I have, and that's Ymir. She's been acting strange recently, she was already close with Historia but now they seem closer, but Ymir's also been close to me as well. I don't know how to describe it but... it's been nice hanging out with them both, Connie did make a rather strange joke about relationships but I didn't pay much attention to it after Ymir kicked her foot up his ass.

Wasn't I saying something about Mikasa earlier? Oh right, how she's been acting around others lately. Specifically how she's been acting around the other female Cadets, no matter if it's Annie, Ymir or Sasha, she'll glare at them and tends to pull me away from them if she can, but not when I'm with Historia for some reason.

Anyway, today's been a chaotic day so far. We've been doing ODM training again but this time we had to destroy fake titans as groups. Then we did some recon missions in groups which weren't too bad but after everything that happened with the kidnappers I was kinda on edge the whole time and cost my team a couple points for that.

But right now it was classic hand to hand combat, and instead of training with Annie or Historia, I was placed with Armin. Poor guy, she was shaking the entire time.

Armin: J-Just g-go easy, okay?
