Everything was dark, just pure darkness, not a single slither of light anywhere.
F/N: M-Mother? W-Where are you?
???: Wake up.
F/N: Where.... Mum! Where are you?!
???: WAKE UP!
F/N: GASP!
I shot up awake before feeling my body be pulled back with a rattling noise, turning my head I saw I was attacked to a metal bed with handcuffs keeping me attached to it.
???: You're finally awake. Good, we can ask you some questions as well now.
Eren: F/N! Are you okay?
I looked at the wall next to me confused before realising I was in a prison cell, and Eren was in the one next to me. I tried to get up again but got pulled back making me sit back down.
???: I apologise for the handcuffs, but the Military Police were very adamant on you being cuffed to your beds.
F/N: No I.... I understand that... who are you?
I heard Eren gasp before speaking again.
Eren: F/N, that's Erwin Smith. Commander of the scouts and that next to him is captain Levi. How could you not recognise them?
I looked at the 2 figures standing outside our cells and tried to shake the throbbing pain I had in my head.
F/N: S-Sorry I just... right... what's going on?
Levi: Tsk! This brat seems completely out of it.
Erwin: Come on now Levi. Give the boy a chance.
Erwin looks towards me again and held up a ring making me gasp in shock.
F/N: That's my mother ring! How the hell do you have that?!
Erwin: Do not worry, I will give it back once everything is sorted. I wish you ask you some questions, if that's alright?
Eren: It's alright F/N. He also has the key my dad gave me, trust them okay.
F/N: R-Right.... Sorry, go ahead.
Erwin: I already asked cadets Yeager this and given the testimonies of your fellow cadets and even some of the garrison soldiers I think I already know your answer. What's your mission?
F/N: My... mission?... I don't... I don't have a mission... I have a dream that we'll finally be free of the titans... a dream where we can move outside the walls and explore the world we've been so afraid to look at all these years.
Levi: Heh! Sounds like a nice dream.
Erwin smiled at me and nodded his head softly.
