Chapter 10|I'm going to the party|

Xavier let's go of me as realization dawns on him.
"Fuck, I'm so sorry man. I didn_" Xavier gets cut off with a hard punch on the face.
"Didn't what?...mean to strangle my sister?.....it looked like you fucking did" Dylan says again as he lands another punch.

Yeah.

I think Xavier just lost a tooth.

I drag Dylan away before he breaks anything else.

Xavier didn't fight back.
Why?

I look at him to see if he's alright.
"Oh shit, you're bleeding." I say while walking towards him. I use my right hand to examine his bleeding lips and I can see him staring at me.

Why the fuck do I care anyways?
He literally just tried to strangle me.
"Let's go Ava." Dylan says while dragging me away.

I know better than to talk when Dylan Jones is angry.

I look at the Rachel girl as I'm being dragged out and she seems..... happy?
Did she really have a hand in this?
"Are you okay?" He asks as we reach outside.
"Any scratch? Handprint? Any injury?" He asks while he uses his eyes to scan my face and I roll my eyes.
"I'm fine. I don't think Xavier is though. What were you thinking?"
"What was I thinking?....that lunatic tried to fucking kill you. God,Ava....I leave you for one second and you almost get yourself killed"
He wasn't actually going to kill me" I say and he gives me a you-fucking-serious-right-now? look.
"Stay away from him Ava"Dylan warns me
"That's gonna be hard to do figuring he lives next door"I say and by his facial expression,I don't think he knew that.
"Oh.....okay,then you won't be going out again." He says
"We go to the same school too"
"You'll change schools" he says as if it's that simple then walks away.

He's insane.

"Where are you going?" I ask him.
"To class. School just started"

Oh yeah..... it's still morning.

Where did Amelia go? I can't even look for her cause I don't know anywhere in New York.

Really hope she isn't commiting suicide or something.

★Xavier's POV★
Why did she still care?
I tried to strangle her.

I touch my bleeding lips to examine it.
Yeah. That's blood all right.
She has a brother?
I think I've seen that dude in Chemistry class or something.

"Xavy are you alright?" Rachel asks
I look at her and all the anger rushes through my veins again.
"Stay the fuck away from me" I say and walk away with my friends.
"You know you deserve what you got right?"Jayden asks.

I know.

"Yeah. You were strangling Rachel one minute then Ava the next" Jordan says
"I'm even surprised you didn't land in the hospital. I was ready to visit you with flowers"Kyle says
"And a get well soon card" Zane adds
"Yeah" I say absentmindedly.
"Who's going to the party tomorrow?" Zane asks changing the subject.
"Me" Jayden says.
"Me too. I love her parties. I always end up getting laid with one hot chick" Jordan says.
"What about you Xavier? It'll help remove your mind from everything." Zane asks
"Why aren't you guys asking me if I did it?"

They saw the picture. They weren't there when the it happened. I look at them for answers and they look at me like I just asked something bad.
"Bro,you may have been a player before but we trust you. We know Natalie has something to do with it". Zane answers.
"Yeah and if Amelia can't believe you didn't do it,then I guess she's not the one for you" Kyle adds
"First smart thing I've heard you say since we've known each other" Zane says to Kyle and ruffles his hair.
"You've literally been doing everything to make her trust you but still,she doesn't" Jordan says.
"I'm even surprised your relationship lasted this long without trust. I expected it to end the week it started" Zane says.
"You expected a week?.....I expected a day" Jayden says

Zane's right.
He's never right.

How the fuck did this relationship last without trust? Maybe it's because my loyalty has never been tested before and now that it has,she just proved to me that she'll never trust me.

Fuck this.

"I'm going to the party" I say, answering Zane's previous question.
"You didn't really have a choice" Zane says and I roll my eyes.
