Canon Jeff the killer facts.

Oh hey, facts. I mean, fandom is known for loving real facts and being as canonical as possible. Just as much as this community likes to give real credits to authors, and is generally super-dooper respectful and also so...incredibly mature. Well, anyway: these canon facts I, obtuse and lazy as I am, just plain copied and pasted here from a site called "VS Battles Wiki". For some reason, some of the headings weren't copied as well, but that doesn't matter too much. Fuck you.

Original vs Fanfiction (Sesser-Verse vs Creepypasta):

"The thing is... it wasn't an Oc creepypasta, it really had nothing to do with creepypasta, after the picture and the others were posted and seemingly lost in cyber space for 3 or 4 years, the picture did resurface on encyclopedia dramatica on the creepypasta section (back when creepypasta was good and none of that emo, loner, anime, teeny bopper Oc shit existed) after so many years and that's when I decided that I'd finally give Jeff the name he'd be famous for. Later of next year I'd decide to put Jeff to more use and give him a short little urban legend style story on youtube, albeit with some random irreverent humor bits tacked on to it for my own amusement. Years went by and in 2011 there was a Jeff the killer Fanfiction that came to be which would make Jeff the Killer ultimately famous. And since then That Jeff the killer became the more known one and which almost left the Canon Jeff left in obscurity until a few dedicated people who actually appreciated the original Jeff to bring it out to light and without them, I'd be fucked over! lol. I still get many people thinking that I'm the guy behind Jeff Woods and all that other stupid shit, but as the years go by people start to know about Jeff Hodek rather than Jeffy Woods the emo dream teen. Despite the story fucking up almost everything that I planned for Jeff aside from the carving the smile in his face while looking in the mirror, that did happen in my version, it did make Jeff the Killer on it's own to become a more well known medium and without the fan story despite how much it goes against my version of Jeff, if it wasn't for the 2011 version, Jeff may never have been as popular at all. So I still give credit to the 2011 fan-story helping with recognition, I made Jeff in 2008 hoping for some fame, but never expecting it, but here I am now, and the really cool people I talk to, both fans of the 2008 original version or the 2011 fan version, both fanbases ended up being really cool and respectful people to me and honestly no matter which Jeff they like if they're great people in general then I like and truly appreciate getting to ever speak to them, and even knowing some more intimately."
