A/N: It took some time, but I finally managed to finish this chapter, hope you enjoy! (I won't be able to post that regularly now, because school is starting and so is my chaotic life coming back to chaotic, but I'll do my best!)

| Danielle's pov

I was sitting on the plane next to Stefania, she was in the middle and I had the window sit, since she always liked to rely on me and that way, I had the wall's support. Thankfully, there was nobody in the third seat. We were flying to Italy to meet with her family, so she could come out to them and present me as her girlfriend. She had her head resting on my shoulder and held my hand strongly, while I caressed her hair.

"Bambina, are you sure you want to go? My father can be really mean... I don't want you to-" She whispered, looking at me with teary eyes.

"Baby, for the hundredth time today," I interrupted, knowing where this conversation was going. "I do want to go with you. I won't think any different of you, or be hurt by your father's reaction. Besides, I wouldn't let you go alone, I know how difficult it is to come out and how painful it can be when the people you love the most don't accept who you are." I said, kissing her hair when I finished.

"Y- yeah... B- but-" She insisted, her mind racing with worried thoughts.

"No buts, my love. I'm going either way. And if his reaction is not bad, that's great, I'll be happy and celebrate with you, but if it is, then I will be by your side, and I'll help you through it, okay? I've got you." She nodded softly and put her head back on my shoulder. "Close your eyes now, princess." I suggested, bringing her as close to me as I could and rubbing her back. "I'm right here."

Eventually, she drifted off to sleep and I let myself do the same, after making sure she was okay.

...

"Hey, baby... We're here." I said, waking Stefania up, as she had been sleeping throughout the whole flight.

"Hmmm..." She mumbled, getting closer to me, still with her eyes closed.

"I know, princess, but we need to get out of the plane." I insisted, stroking her hair. "You can sleep on the car ride."

"Hmmm'kay." She finally gave in, getting her waist up a little and rubbing her eyes.

"Did you sleep well?" I asked, putting a strand of her hair behind her ear, while she woke up properly.

She just nodded, too sleepy to talk yet.

"Good."

When she seemed awoke enough, I helped her to get up and got our bags from under the sit, deciding to carry them both.

We walked hand-in-hand, leaving the plane, and then Stefania leaded the way through the airport until we were finally outside. We called a cub to Stefania's house and she slept the whole way, resting her head on my shoulder while I enjoyed the view.

"And we're here!" The driver announced, stopping the car in front of a nice green house, with wood windows and a cozy balcony on the first floor, full of pink flowers.

"Thank you." I replied. "Hey, Stef, we're here, sweetheart. Wake up." I said, turning to Stefania now, stroking her hair.

"Home?" She barely let out, trying to open her eyes.

"Yes, baby, come on." I confirmed, kissing her forehead. "Need help getting out?"

She nodded to accept my suggestion and I gently held her arms to help her step out of the car. Then, I grabbed our bags from the luggage compartment and said goodbye to the driver.
