Kurokawa and Mikey stood face to face, preparing to fight.
"You came from the future, huh?" Draken questioned the First Division Captain. "It sounds like a bunch of bullshit, but I've seen just how desperate you've always been."
"Draken..."
"I believe you," the tattooed boy admitted. "Mikey, (Y/n), and I will be your arms. Accomplish what you've come to do."
"You've done enough, Takemichi," I smiled. "Let us be the ones to help you this time."
Back to the current fight. Mikey tried to sidekick Kurokawa, who quickly blocked him.
He then closed the distance, getting face to face with my boyfriend. "That was one hell of a kick, Mikey." The blonde kicked again, only for his older brother to block again. "Damn, that's a lot of power even when you're off balance." Attempting to kick him again, Mikey was blocked once more. This time by Kurokawa's kick. "An instinctive bounce and balance. No wonder you're called invincible."
"He stopped Mikey's kick?!" Takemichi gasped.
"I like it. I haven't gotten worked up in a while." Kurokawa had a deranged look in his eyes. I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to get nervous for Mikey.
Once again, Mikey charged, kicking Kurokawa's arm, which he used to block. Big mistake. This move left the blonde open, allowing his older brother to kick him in the gut.
As the blonde landed on the ground, Kurokawa turned around with a menacing look on his face. "But I can already read your moves. I've crushed everything with pure strength. Now that my plan got screwed up, I've got no choice. I'll kill you."
You better win this, Mikey.
The boy got back up, charging once again. Another kick blocked, another punch to the face.
"Let me ask you one thing," Mikey huffed. "Why did you kill Emma?"
"Shinichiro didn't become the big brother who only belonged to me. And then your subordinate killed him." Yeah, but that was an accident. It's not like Mikey wanted him dead. "So, I made up my mind." Kurokawa grabbed Mikey's chin, pulling him, so they were face to face. "I'm going to reduce you to ashes and turn you into Shinichiro."
"What the hell is he talking about?" Katsumi walked up beside me, covered in injuries from her last fight.
"No clue." From everything I've learned about Izana Kurokawa, from the letters to how he's acting now, I'm certain that he was never mentally well. Shinichiro's death must've been his breaking point.
"So, hurry up and become an empty shell."
"Why is that a reason to kill Emma?" Mikey remained expressionless.
Kurokawa pushed the blonde away, knocking him back to the ground. "You stole everything from me, Manjiro! That's why I'm going to kill you." He kicked Mikey again, as he just let it happen. "What's wrong, Mikey? Is that all you've got?"
"Mikey!" Takemichi shouted, while Hinata covered her mouth.
The blonde stood back up, only to be assaulted by a barrage of punches.
Chifuyu watched intensely. "What's happened to you, Mikey?"
"This must be because of Emma," Takemichi frowned. "He doesn't have his usual strength."
"Mikey's giving it his all," Draken corrected.
"Yeah," I agreed. "Izana Kurokawa is just a tough opponent."
The one-sided fight continued, as I unconsciously gripped Katsumi's sleeve. I don't know how much more of this I can watch.
Mikey took a step back before saying, "solitude is your strength, huh?" He finally kicked Kurokawa's arm down. "But you've got comrades who fought for you."
