As if time has stopped. The music stopped playing. People stopped moving. Even the flames seemed to stop dancing.

Visenya walked straight, with pride, as if she wasn't just attending her own father's wedding to her former friend, but as if she were a guest at someone else's wedding. Her steps were slow and calm, but there was anger and defiance in every step. The gazes of everyone present immediately turned to her, including her father and Alicent.

Viserys looked as if someone had just plunged a dagger into his heart. He didn't know what to expect, but this wasn't what he wanted. His daughter was supposed to be at his wedding, by his side, to show support for the new union. But instead, she entered as a symbol of defiance, dressed in black, the color of sadness, and with a blue bow, which seemed to symbolize a person who cannot be forgotten - Aemma Targaryen.

This Visenya behavior reminded him of someone, Daemon Targaryen. It felt like he was looking at him and not at her.

Alicent stood beside him, her eyes filled with fear and shame. She knew that her relationship with Visenya would never return to normal, but the look the princess gave her was full of cold disinterest. Visenya stopped just a few steps away from them, her stance firm, her eyes radiating determination.

Viserys took a breath, wanted to say something, but the words stuck in his throat. How could he expect his daughter to understand his decision when he himself felt in his heart that it was a betrayal?

Rhaenyra stood in the crowd, her face pale, but her eyes filled with tears when she saw her sister. At that moment, Visenya turned to her, strode towards her, and when they met, she hugged her so tightly as if she never wanted to let go.

"We're in this together," Visenya whispered.

Viserys just watched helplessly as his daughters hugged each other.

"Music!" shouted Otto Hightower which meant the musicians started playing again and people started whispering to each other. Visenya's tearful and red eyes were not easily hidden, and the same was true of Rhaenyra.

After a while, Visenya moved away from Rhaenyra and decided to congratulate the newlyweds. But on the way to her father, Otto stopped her.

Otto Hightower stood before Visenya, his face unapproachable and his eyes cold. Visenya looked at him with the same expression that made it clear that her defiance would not be tolerated.

"Princess," Otto began in a low but firm sounding voice, "may I ask you to behave yourself for the occasion? This is the day your father remarried. It is a day of celebration, not a day of defiance."

Visenya looked at him with the anger that had been boiling inside her since she entered the hall. "My behavior is entirely appropriate, Lord Hightower. If anyone is being disrespectful today, it's not me," she replied sharply, her voice laced with venom.
