CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE
❛ weekend getaway pt 3 ❜

"YOU DON'T HAVE to if you don't want to." You blurted out, scratching your neck awkwardly. You?! Kissing Bakugo?! You couldn't even begin to imagine a scenario like that. Bakugo furrowed his brow in confusion.

"Who said I didn't want to?"

You blinked, taken aback by his bold statement. He stared back at you in complete seriousness. You would've expected a snarky comment from him, but he didn't seem the least bit bothered by the act of kissing you.

Snapping out of your thoughts, you realized Bakugo was already leaning in to kiss you. He placed a hand behind your head, pulling you into the kiss. His tongue grazed your bottom lip, sending a shiver throughout your body. You cupped his cheek, leaning forward to deepen the kiss. You never imagined a kiss with Bakugo would be so intoxicating— you wanted more. It lasted longer than it should've, and only ended when Mina cleared her throat, earning your attention.

"Oh, uh— wow," She said, quite surprised. You quickly backed away, wiping the saliva from your lips. Bakugo leaned back against the couch as he licked his lips, his eyes fixated onto you. It was quiet, and you noticed Todoroki glaring daggers into the blonde. "Are you going to spin, Bakugo?" Spinning the bottle, Bakugo watched as it came to a halt, landing onto Mineta. The purple-haired boy squealed in fear, covering his face.

"Yeah, i'm done." Bakugo stood up, making his way back to his designated room. With that, everyone else stood up from their spot, wishing each other a good night. You sat unmoving, your hand brushing against your lips. You couldn't believe that you had kissed both Todoroki and Bakugo within the span of five minutes.

"Are you okay, (L/n)?" Mina asked, taking a seat beside you. She looked at you with concern, but wore a suspicious smile on her face.

"No, it's nothing." You stood up quickly, waving as you made your way back to your room. "Goodnight, Mina!" The pink-haired girl sat on the couch, grinning to herself.

"It's all coming together."

You awoke to the sound of footsteps walking past your room. Sitting up, you looked around the room, spotting Uraraka and Momo who were fast asleep. Next to you, Mina had stirred awake, looking around confused.

"What was that?" You questioned. "Did you hear that?" She shrugged, turning over to fall back asleep. Biting your lip, you pushed yourself off the bed, making your way to the door. Peeking out, you didn't see anyone. Walking down the hallway and into the living room, you spotted Sero and Kirishima, sprawled out across the couch and snoring obnoxiously. The clock that hung from the wall read 3 A.M. There wasn't anybody awake, so who exactly was walking past your door?

Peeking out the window, you saw a familiar head of blonde hair making their way down to the beach. Bakugo?! What's he doing up?! You slid on a random pair of slides, making your way out the door.

"Fireworks!" You called out, running toward Bakugo. He spun around, looking surprised as he shoved a piece of paper into his pocket. You slowed as you approached the blonde, wondering what he was up to.

"(Y/n)," He wasn't expecting to see you. "What're you doing up at this time?!" His demeanor felt as if he was holding something back. You began wondering just what was going on. You chuckled at his question.

"I heard you in the hallway, it woke me up. Besides, I could ask you the same thing?" Bakugo shrugged, turning back toward the ocean.

"I couldn't sleep, I guess." You furrowed your brow, peeking over at the blonde. He wore a serious expression, yet had nothing to say. It was odd; he usually had plenty to say.

"Did you drink too much earlier?" You questioned, placing a hand onto his shoulder. He shook his head, appearing to contemplate something inside his head. He then pulled something out of his pocket, handing it to you. It was the gold necklace you had saw earlier through the shop window. You gasped lightly, staring at the piece of jewelry in shock.

"But ... why?" You asked, looking back up at the blonde. Bakugo was silent, and you noticed a light shade of red dusting his face. He seemed embarrassed, not knowing what to say. This was so out of character for him.

"You wanted it, so I bought it." He quickly said, a bit defensively. "Don't think too hard about it, idiot." He went to walk away, but you grasped onto his wrist. Something had been on your mind, and you found yourself blurting it out before you could think.

"Katsuki, was I your first kiss?"

Bakugo looked back, his eyes widening in disbelief. You thought you had made him angry, immediately regretting your question, but in his head, his thoughts were running wild. Was it that obvious?! He asked himself, wanting to disappear in that very moment. Did you enjoy it, or was he a terrible kisser?! You even had the audacity to use his first name when asking such an embarrassing question. When he kissed you, he felt his body move on his own. He wished he could've continued where he left off, and take it even further. He wanted you— badly.

"Fuck off." Is all he could muster, snatching his wrist back. He began heading back to the beach house, muttering under his breath. You had to admit— kissing Bakugo felt amazing. It made you feel things for him you've never felt before, but you didn't quite understand what these feelings meant. You stood, motionless, feeling the heat creep up to your face. You took Bakugo, the king of assholes, first kiss...

... and you might be catching feelings for him.
