Encounter! - PART II

Once the word "Encounter" was heard, all the raptures immediately took action by firing altogether, forcing a squad to take cover right inside your base and another to flee the area immediately.

And it alone irritated you since your underlings had destroyed much of the walls of your base. You couldn't even help but feel pity on those guys since they'll die.

Noticing Eight tapping your leg, you glanced at her amidst the battle that was going on in the background.

"Blue, let me at the retreating Nikke and their commander." She stated, and once you nodded, she chased after the group at a superhuman speed before muttering solemnly.

"I have something to settle with him."

Seeing her run off, a Product 12 from the other squad tried her best to fire at the escaping Irregular, only for a bullet from a Husk-Class rapture to interrupt her, slightly damaging her armor.

"Damn!" Cursing between her teeth, she retaliated at the same rapture before returning into the cover as they were being showered by bullets.

Their commander was taking cover, thinking of a plan as he looked at the special equipment at his hand.

Suddenly, the firing had stopped, leaving the group in awe. You had commanded the raptures to stop firing.

"What happened?" Hank slowly stood from his cover, finding out that their target was staring at him.

Then, quickly ducks down and looked at the holographic screen where their operator was at.

"Why...." The operator spoke, her breath heavy. "Why the fuck those that... Thing have Goddessium as it's body?!"

"Huh?!" Perplexed, the commander slowly became confused. "What the hell do you mean?! Isn't goddessium made for Nikke?!"

"Your Nikke, at best could only dent that thing's armor!" The operator yelled, going out of character. "Aim for its core! Use the capturing device to help you!"

They don't know that you are listening to them and knew what they are talking about.

But seeing them use your base as a mere cover further annoyed you as you swung your arm and grabbed a Nikke through a wall then pulling her outside.

"!!!"

The Nikke, who is a Product 12, couldn't help but struggle under your tight grip. She wasn't able to do anything else as her body was slammed down to the ground thrice then tossed to the side.

You had other things to do.

"Here's one for you !" Commander Hank yelled out, activating the device and throwing it at you.

Because you had been careful of the device, you immediately swatted (parried) it back to the commander, making the device activate near him.

"No, this can't be-!"

*BZZT~!*

*Whrr~~~*

Soon, the device split up to many pieces as if they were small drones, and a ball of pure energy surrounded the commander.

His cap fell off as soon as he was trapped inside the human-sized ball of energy.

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me...." He said, looking frustrated that this happened. "This shit is defected!"

However, not a single sound was heard outside the ball, as if air was sealed inside it.

"Commander!" A Soldier OW yelled out, before trying her best to open fire on you as much as she could along with another Nikke.
