SKIPPING CLASS WAS like Hooks second nature. He always avoided going but today first period was baking. He would be with Bridget and the two would work on red velvet cupcakes together—well in all honesty, Hook never contributed much besides talk a bit, Bridget would do all the work and he was fine with that but he decided that today he would as he said in his class the day before—
'turn over a new leaf'
He put on a annoyed facade as he walked into the room, just to find it empty. He must be early to class. Surprisingly, he wasn't the only person to be early. A flash of pink caught his eye as he realised Bridget was already preparing the batter.
He realised it was because of his lack of contribution that caused Bridget to have extra workload that he never cared for. She never complained about it either.
He let out a fake cough trying to gain Bridget's attention but to his surprise, she didn't notice him.
Confused, he walked up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder. This time, Bridget turned around with a shocked facial expression before taking out one of her earphones.
"Oh, sorry I was listening to some music—are you staying for class today?" She asked the boy as she poured flour into the batter.
"I'll stay for a bit. I might leave early though, My girlfriend wants to come to the ship." He said as the girl nodded
Bridget paused before looking at the boy, "You have a girlfriend?"
The boy nodded, opening his mouth to speak but being cut off, "He just needs his girl of the week."
The pair turned as Bridget felt a pair of hands on her shoulders, In a moment of shock she yelped, gripping onto Hooks arm. Hook grimaced, he didn't like her touching him but deep inside..it felt electrifying, like it was right for her hand on his. Bridget noticing his facial expression quickly removed her hand as she went back to mixing.
"Seriously? 'girl of the week?" she laughed as the baking teacher walked in as the rest of the students followed suit.
"yep.." Morgie laughed as he took a stool to take a seat on, "Hook's quite the player."
Hook frowned at the comment, he saw the way Bridget raised her eyebrows to Morgie as he finished his sentence..she seemed almost, disappointed?
Before Hook was able to retaliate he dead swiftly cut off by the teacher, "Morgie. Please return to your own desk and partner instead of bothering Bridget and Hook." she told Morgie as he sighed—clearly annoyed.
Hook had a triumphant feeling as he smirked..he didn't know why he felt so joyous about Morgie being sent away, " I'm not that much of a player like he says I am..I just, haven't found the right girl yet."
Bridget nodded as she turned to face the boy, "I know how you feel." she grabbed his shoulders lightly, "You'll find your girl one day."
Hook wanted to feel disgusted by the way the girl carried herself, how she spoke so kindly, so genuine. The girl stood for everything he stood against.
He looked at the girl, as she baked the cupcakes she looked so happy. So so happy.
He let out a soft cough before asking, "So do you have any siblings?" he wanted to get to know her better.
He assumed if she didn't, she'd laugh and talk about how she wished she had a sibling and if she did, she'd boast about how amazing it was to have a companion by her side her whole life.
To his disbelief, she nodded but this time with a disappointment look on her face before answering, "uh yes. I have one older sister."
Hook nodded, "What's her name"
Bridget let out a deep sigh as she stopped mixing her bowl of batter, "Why do you want to know so much about her, everyone always does. It's always her." she scoffed
Hook smirked seeing the girl all worked up, "Easy there..What? Is your sister prettier?" He laughed, "You want me all to yourself, do you?"
Bridget paused as the words that came out of his mouth sunk in, It would be an understatement to say she felt angry but she wouldn't allow herself to show it. She ignored him, that was the next best option.
"Why are you ignoring me, princess?" Hook carried on—adding on a nickname.
On a normal occasion, Bridget would blush and smile at the nickname but right now, she didn't have it in her to smile.
She was annoyed, every single time. It was always Bria.. every single time.

ULIANA'S LAIR
The sea witch rolled her eyes listening to Morgie's failed attempt at making the pink haired girl fall inlove.
"And then Hook-" Uliana smirked before cutting him off, "Hook? What did he do?"
"Well, when I arrived at class Hook was already there, talking to Bridget.." Morgie admitted, "But then he said something-"
Uliana cackled, "HOOK?" she turned her head towards the boy before taking a seat infront of the aforementioned boy.
"You're flirting with pinkie pie now? I can't believe you.." She heckled, "You want to take out this plan or what?"
Hook scoffed, shaking his head, "No. I just needed my attendance to increase, Merlin threatened me with expulsion."
He was lying. Merlin never threatened him and even if he did—Hook probably wouldn't bat an eye, In reality, he wanted to see Bridget.
Something about her bright smile plastered on her face made him feel annoyed—but the one lesson he spent with her made him realise that he was starting to be more drawn towards her.
"hmph." Uliana snarled before turning towards the son of the serpent, "You." she pointed a tentacle, "will not fail this plan. you hear me?"
Morgie nodded as Hades laughed at his weird sense of obedience towards the sea witch.
Maleficent layed her head on her boyfriends shoulder before tilting her hand towards the exit, "Wanna go back to the dorms?" he asked
Maleficent nodded as the couple happily went on their way to their rooms, Hook turned his focus towards Uliana "So can I go or-"
"Just go." and just like that he was dismissed from her wretched plan.
