Johnny turned the TV off, ignoring the protests that arise from that action. It was the weekend so he had let the boys stay up a little later than usual but it was still getting late and he didn't want to deal with any cranky kids in the morning.

"Hyung! We didn't get to finish our movie" Mark whined, looking up at Johnny.

"I know you didn't but it's late and little boys like you need sleep. Come on, bedtime" Johhny ushered Mark and Haechan to the stairs and then turned back to the other boys.

"That means all of you. Let's go" Johnny motioned for the older boys to get moving. Jaehyun and Yuta looked up at him but the others either didn't hear or didn't care.

"Why do we have to go? We're not the babies" Jaehyun complained. Johnny took his hand, pulling Jaehyun to his feet and walking him over to the stairs, leaning down to his height. Jaehyun crossed his arms, not happy to go to bed.

"Because you need sleep, and I've already let you stay up later than I should have" Johnny explained. Jaehyun continued to sulk but didn't argue, especially after Johnny gave a warning pat to the bottom which had Jaehyun hurrying to the bathroom. Jungwoo paused his game and followed Jaehyun upstairs.

"You two need to go as well. Don't make me say it again" Johnny warned. Yuta huffed but got up, turning his game off and slipping it into the electronics basket. Taeyong got up, not even looking away from his Switch and went upstairs. Johnny reminded himself to get the device before Taeyong went to bed and put it in the basket.

He forgot. Of course he forgot. Johnny had been so tired after wrangling Mark, Haechan, Jaehyun and Jungwoo into bed and trying to get the older two to stop playing games long enough to go to sleep, he completely forgot that Taeyong had taken his Switch to bed.

Taeyong put his elbow on the table, resting his head on his hand as he picked at his food.

"Taeyong, is something the matter?" Johnny looked over to the kid on his left.

"No hyung" Taeyong answered, not lifting his head. Johnny frowned. Not only was that super disrespectful but this was also completely unlike Taeyong.

"Well, I know you have not forgotten your table manners. Sit up properly and eat your food. You know better" Johnny scolded. Taeyong rolled his eyes as he obeyed, making it obvious to everyone. Johnny's hand froze halfway to his mouth and he just stared at Taeyong for a moment.

"Ooh, someone's in trouble" Mark remarked under his breath. Taeyong glared at him, stabbing his fork into the plate of food and getting up.

"Sit down Taeyong" Johnny pointed back to Taeyong's chair.

"I'm not hungry" Taeyong argued. Johnny looked at him, silently daring Taeyong to disobey him. Taeyong crossed his arms, still standing.

"Do not make me count to three, Lee Taeyong" Johnny warned. Taeyong rolled his eyes again and sat down, making a big show off it. Johnny had no idea one kid could be so dramatic. The lighthearted chatter did not return at the table, everyone was too worried about what could be bothering Taeyong and no one wanted to make his bad mood worse.

"Ow, Mark! Why did you kick me?" Taeyong glared at the kid across from him.

"I didn't!" Mark shook his head.

"I felt you kick me, you little brat!" Taeyong argued, confident that he was right. It didn't even matter if he was or not. He just needed someone to take his anger out on.

"I didn't, I swear!" Mark repeated.

"I know you didn't, Mark. It's okay" Johnny patted the kid on the head. Taeyong scoffed, slouching in his chair.
