    Jin worked solidly, determined to prove his worth to Taehyung, and by four o'clock he was almost through the second box file. Mr. Lim had continued to make snide remarks in his direction all afternoon, clearly miffed that his gofer had been taken from him, but he had steadfastly ignored him. He had no idea what his problem was with him, and thanks to his stimulating little interlude with Taehyung earlier in the afternoon, he no longer particularly care.

    He smiled to himself.

    He really did know how to relieve his tension.

    The other interns had spent this afternoon much like this morning, running the length and breadth of the factory, gathering information. Taehyung disappeared into another meeting with Mr. Choi shortly after they returned from that screening, and he had not seen him since.

    "Coffee or tea, anyone?" Kai asked.

    Jin glanced at him briefly, surprised.

    Kai making the tea... now that's a first.

    Give the boy a chance, Jin.

    He forced a smile. "Thanks Kai. Tea. Bag out for me, please."

    Kai sidled over to the corner of the room where Minho and Soobin were stationed and took their drinks order from them. Jin watched him narrowly. He was giggling and flicking his hand around just like... he was flirting with them. The realization hit him suddenly. Now his interest was really piqued.

    What is he up to?

    Minho and Soobin exchanged a look as Kai glided away.

    Of course. They know, too.

    Minho caught Jin's eye and shrugged.

    He returned to his work, embarrassed, chiding himself for his nosiness.

    It is none of my business.

    A few minutes later and Kai was back, holding a tray aloft, weighed down with hot drinks and biscuits. As he handed out the drinks, Jin could not help himself. He strained to hear his exchange with Minho:

    "Here you go, Minho. Your coffee. Just as you like it. The caffeine should help to keep you alert. It will be a long day for you today, with the early start this morning and now the dinner tonight. You'll really have your work cut out, keeping Mr. Kim and his boyfriend safe?"

    It was not quite a question, but the expression on Kai's face betrayed him.

    He really wanted to know.

    "I'm fine, Sir, thanks for your concern," replied Minho politely, taking the cup from him. A look of irritation crossed Kai's face, but it was quickly replaced by a saccharine sweet smile. He leaned in towards him, his voice a low purr. "Do you like him?"

    Minho was really not cooperating.

    "Beg your pardon, Sir?" he asked blandly.

    Jin turned his face away to hide his gleeful smile.

    "Mr. Kim's boyfriend," Kai repeated, clearly irritated that the conversation was not bearing fruit. "I take it he will be accompanying him to the dinner tonight?"

    His reply suddenly seemed loud.

    He looked around and saw that everyone had stopped what they were doing to stare at Kai. Jin turned turn around slowly and saw the reason for the momentary hush.
