A viking and a butterfly

It was a slow day in the suitcase as everyone was either busy or just doing their own thing, The kids were all doing different things too

The twins were playing with Thomas, Eagle and Mondlicht were doing survival training together, and Avguest was with Vila learning different things

Erick was in her room clearly bored and looking at a letter she got from Sonetto, the letter was from her two friends Erick made at the school where Sonetto and Vertin went to, and Erick wrote back to them every time but this letter seemed a bit odd as Erick read the contents of it

Erick: hm...

She looked at the letter with clear frustration as it described what her friends were doing and she wanted to be there with them but due to complicated circumstances she knew it wasn't going to happen... at least not today

She got off her bed and thought for a bit before getting an idea and decided to talk to the princess of butterflies... aka Glowie

She burst out of her room and sprinted to Glowies room where she paused immediately and composed herself since Erick may be a Viking but that doesn't mean you rudely barge into a fair maidens room like a shameless fool

Erick knocked on the door and waited and saw the door open showing the adorable butterfly girl herself

Glowie: oh hi Erick!

Erick: hi Glowie! Would you like to come on an adventure with me?

Glowie: to where?

Glowie looks at Erick with a curious expression while Erick simply smiles with pure excitement

Erick: we are going to world filled with flowers and peace! I assumed it'd be fitting for the princess of butterflies!

Glowie giggled at the nickname and the fact that Erick easily guessed what her favorite spot was, Erick calls her this nickname since she saw Glowie use her arcane skills and since then calls her the usual "Princess of Butterflies" or "Butterfly maiden" and she's happy to be nicknamed either way

Glowie: I'll gladly go on this adventure with you! But before I do... she goes into her room and positions her teddy bear on the bed protect my chambers ok?

She giggled and hugged the teddy bear before putting it back on her bed gently and ran back to Erick

Glowie: okay! I'm ready!

Erick: Glorious!

The two then ran off together down the hallways of the suitcase giggling and laughing eventually getting to the Lobby where Erick wanted a quick snack before continuing and Glowie simply looked around and saw Pavia enjoying his Gelato

Glowie: Hi

Pavia: hm? Oh hello there... small thing

Glowie: are the puppies awake today?

Pavia: he shakes his head no. Their with Thomas right now, on a walk

Glowie: I thought only you liked walking them

Pavia: I do.. but considering the nightmare that Thomas had I thought I'd give him this...

Glowie: you and Thomas are flirtin!

Pavia nearly choked on his gelato and stared directly at Glowie who has a now innocent face clearly visibly not realizing or knowing what she said

Pavia: he shakes his head as his cheeks slightly turn red I have not flirted with him... I just... assumed he needed some wolves to give comfort... just a normal thing for a friend

Glowie: your cheeks said otherwise... my papa once told me that my mama does the same thing whenever he gave her hugs and kisses

Pavia: his face turned even more red and simply just kept eating his gelato looking away nice talking to ya... kid.

Erick walks over to Glowie with a excited smile while holding her axe over her shoulder

Erick: Alrighty! I'm all fueled up and ready to escort you to the fields of peace!

Glowie giggles and simply runs over to the exit of the suitcase while Erick enthusiastically followed behind her

Erick and Glowie carefully get out of the suitcase and start walking down the forest path and since they were walking Erick was born ready to give protection in case of any critters

Glowie: hey Erick?

Erick: hm?

Glowie: will there be any Cartunkle there?

Erick: if so I'll gladly slice them to death with my axe!

Glowie smiled and kept walking while Erick stayed next to her keeping an eye on anything suspicious but Erick was curious about something and took a deep breath

Erick: so... Glowie?

Glowie: hm?

Erick: you looked sad yesterday... did something happen?

Glowie: no... I just... didn't get a letter

Erick: from who?

Glowie: from my mom...

Glowie seemed a bit sad and dispirited as she gave that answer and Erick immediately felt bad so she tried to spin it up into something good

Erick: maybe... she uh... was busy! I know there are many times that happens...

Glowie: for a whole year?

Erick felt like an ox had tacked her twice from hearing that and didn't know how to respond to that at all

Glowie: did she... forget me?

Glowie looked sad and it looks like she might cry from this but Erick immediately grabbed both her shoulders and looked her dead in the eye

Erick: You hold that tongue right now!

Glowie looked at Erick surprised and stopped speaking looking at Erick with confusion

Erick: you are definitely not forgotten, if anything you are practically a Vikings dream come true and grace to anyone's presence! If anyone even dared to forget or hurt you then I'll go on a long journey and smite them with this axe.

Glowie: really?

Erick: you have my word.

Glowie simply stared at Erick before giving her a tight hug that nearly knocks the wind out of Erick but the latter hugs her back

Glowie: can we... go back now?

Erick: sure...

The two kids turn back and walk right back to the suitcase with Glowie seeming a little more happy

By the time they get to the suitcase they see Vertin waiting for them there and gestures for them come inside the suitcase
