Ara's POV:
As Vicky and I are about to close the distance between us, the doorbell rings. I'm reluctant to move away from him, but Vicky suggests, "If we keep quiet, they might go away." He pulls me closer, tightening his embrace.
The bell rings again, louder this time, and Vicky groans in frustration. I chuckle at his reaction and finally drag myself to the door. When I open it, I'm met with an angry Kabir, his face contorted with rage.
"What do you want, Kabir?" I ask, trying to keep my voice steady.
Kabir steps inside, his rage palpable. "You deleted the pictures and videos! I want to know why, and you're going to pay for this."
I take a deep breath, trying to remain calm despite the storm of emotions inside me. "I did what I had to do. You have no right to blackmail me or anyone else. I'm not afraid of you."
His anger flares, but before he can say anything more, I cut him off. "You think you can just come here and threaten me? I'm done with your games." I point towards the door. "Get out. I'm not going to waste any more time with you."
Kabir glares at me, his eyes filled with fury. "You think this is over?"
"No," I say, taking a step closer, "but it's over for you. Leave."
He scowls and turns to leave, but just before he reaches the door, I call out to him. "Kabir, wait!"
He turns around, confused. With a surge of strength, I land a solid punch right to his face. The impact is satisfying, and as he stumbles back, I can't help but smile."I always wanted to do that!" I say, my voice carrying a mix of triumph and satisfaction.
From behind me, I hear Vicky's proud voice. "Yep, too strong for her size."
Kabir, holding his face and looking stunned, mutters angrily before storming out. I close the door and turn back to Vicky, who's grinning at me with admiration.
With Kabir finally out of the apartment, I turn back to Vicky, ready to continue where we left off. Vicky leans in closer, his eyes full of promise. "Now, to continue what we started..."I playfully escape from his grip, teasingly saying, "Yeah, I have some work to do. See you later..."
I try to move past him, but before I can get very far, he swiftly pins me to the wall.
I'm caught between his strong arms, my back pressed against the cool surface of the wall. Vicky leans in, his face close to mine, and I can see the playful smirk on his lips. The intensity in his eyes makes my heart race, and I can't help but blush.
"Running away, are we?" he murmurs, his voice low and teasing.
I look up at him, feeling both exhilarated and nervous. "I wasn't trying to run away. Just thought I should take care of a few things first."
Vicky chuckles softly, his gaze locked on mine. "I think we've both had enough of distractions for one day. Don't you?"
I try to hold his gaze, but my blush deepens. "Maybe, but..."
He interrupts my attempt at protest by pressing his forehead gently against mine, his expression softening. "No more excuses. I want to be with you right now, Ara."
His words and the closeness of his body make my heart skip a beat. I can't help but smile, feeling the warmth of his affection and the depth of his sincerity. "Alright," I whisper, finally giving in. "No more distractions."
I can feel the warmth of his breath mingling with mine, and my pulse quickens.
With that, he closes the distance between us, his lips brushing mine in the lightest of touches. The kiss begins as a gentle exploration, a sweet melding of our emotions. It's soft and tender, filled with the care and love we've been yearning to express. His lips move against mine with a slow, deliberate tenderness, each touch igniting a spark that seems to dance through my entire being.
As the kiss deepens, the passion and intensity build, making my heart pound even harder. His hands move to cradle my face, his thumbs brushing softly against my cheeks. Every touch, every caress feels like a promise, a vow of his undying affection and commitment.
I respond with equal fervor, my hands finding their way to his hair, pulling him closer. The kiss becomes more urgent, a beautiful dance of lips and breaths, filled with all the emotions we've been holding back. Our hearts seem to beat in sync, creating a rhythm that is both exhilarating and comforting.
The moment stretches, timeless and perfect. We finally pull back, our foreheads still resting together, our breaths mingling in the quiet space between us. I open my eyes to find Vicky gazing at me with a look of pure love and devotion.
Vicky's thumb brushes against my cheek as he smiles, his gaze never leaving mine. "I've been waiting for this moment," he whispers softly.
I smile back, feeling a sense of complete contentment. "So have I."
We share one last, soft kiss, savoring the closeness and the shared silence. The world outside may have its troubles, but right now, in this moment, everything feels perfect.
