"Are you both sure about this. There will be no going back from here". Rhea asked as she kept the contract in front of the two.

It had been an hour and they finally finished discussing the plan.

Jemimah replied picking up a pen,"I guess this is needed"

She looked at Yashasvi who was still hesitant, "Tum kar rahe ho ya nahi".

Yashasvi glared at and replied, "Let me think it through ".

Jemimah groaned with frustration, "Me ladki ho ke ha bol rahi hu aur tum ladka hoke itna time laga rahe ho".

Yashasvi rolled his eyes and replied, "Baat Gender ki nahi hai, Rodrigues. Mero reputation ki hai. Tumhare saath hogo toh socho kya halat hogi ".

Jemimah let out an exaggerated sigh, leaning back in her chair with a dramatic roll of her eyes. "Oh please, Jaiswal, like your reputation could get any worse. What are you afraid of? That the world might discover your secret inability to make small talk and socialize?"

Yashasvi narrowed his eyes, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Ha ha, very funny, Rodrigues. At least I didn’t accidentally ruin someone’s night at a awards event. But I get it—you’re just trying to distract everyone."

Jemimah shot forward in her seat, glaring at him. "Excuse me? At least I don’t need to pretend to be someone’s boyfriend just to get the media off my back!"

Yashasvi raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "Really? Because from where I’m sitting, it looks like you’re in the same boat, Miss ‘I’m-Too-Good-for-Fake-Dating’."

Jemimah crossed her arms, leaning in closer. "Well, Mr. ‘I-Need-to-Think-It-Through’, you’re the one who’s dragging this out. What’s there to think about? It’s fake. It’s temporary. And it’s not like I’m asking you to marry me!"

Yashasvi pretended to shudder. "Thank God for that. Can you imagine? I'd have to deal with your endless sarcasm and terrible jokes all day and all life long."

Jemimah gasped, her hand over her heart in mock offense. "My jokes are hilarious! You’re just too uptight to appreciate them. Maybe this whole fake dating thing will loosen you up a bit."

Yashasvi snorted, shaking his head. "Or maybe I’ll just have to endure it until it’s over. Seriously, Rodrigues, if this ruins my reputation, I’m blaming you."

Jemimah gave him a smug grin. "Deal. But when it actually boosts your reputation, I expect an apology. And flowers. Lots of them with other gifts."

Yashasvi rolled his eyes again. "Fine, fine. Just don’t start planning our fake wedding already, okay?"

Jemimah chuckled. "Relax, Jaiswal. I wouldn’twant to plan my own funeral albeit it's fake."

Rhea and Shreya, who had been quietly watching the exchange, shared a glance. Rhea finally spoke up, her tone tinged with amusement. "Are you two done, or should we bring in a referee?"

Jemimah and Yashasvi both looked away from each other, still clearly annoyed but knowing they had to go along with the plan.

Yashasvi sighed, reaching for the pen. "Alright, let’s get this over with."
