(I actually included a really blurry picture of my friend's drawing of Aurora and Piper based on my description to her. The 1 on the left is Aurora, and the right is Piper)

Aurora POV:

As Aurora was lost in her own thoughts, she realised that they had already arrived at the orientation venue.

"Go stand with your friends. I'll go find mine." Ace patted her shoulder and left before she could tell him that she didn't have any.

"Come on, Pipe-" Aurora started to say, and then realised her sister wasn't talking to her.

Heaving a sigh, Aurora turned to the front instead and stared at the tall pale elf with dark hair who had appeared on the huge glass screen in the middle of the podium.

"Settle down." He repeated many times to try to silence the bustling Level Ones, but to no avail.

He shook his head and yelled, "Settle down everyone!"

That got the school's attention, finally.

Clearing his throat, the elf said, "Welcome to a new year in Foxfire. To Level Ones who do not know me, I am Magnate Leto, the principal of Foxfire. To old students, please help the youngest ones to settle into our school and invite them with open arms. I trust that this year will be a special year, a time for us to stop looking back to our past and instead, to the bright future that lies in front of us. Before I leave you all, I would like to remind you that there will be a Splotching match this coming Thursday. For those who wish to attend or spectate, please be as early as possible. For those who do not know which classes to go, your homework schedules will be in your lockers, which to enter, you have to lick the DNA strip on the top. Thank you, and I wish you a good term ahead."

With that, the projected image of Magnate Leto glittered away, leaving a screen of black.

Aurora looked around apprehensively, most of the other students were in groups, chatting merrily as they left the hall.

"I might as well follow them." Aurora thought, proceeding to join in the sea of black. Soon, she arrived at her locker.

Even with Aurora's poor sense of direction, it wasn't hard to look for. When she left the hall, the first thing she saw was a row of silver lockers which many Level Ones were trying to open.

Unfortunately, the DNA strip was far too high for them to reach, and Aurora could only watch the others struggle to stand on tiptoes to lick it.

Immediately, Aurora saw an unopened locker with her name written in cursive black glitter.

Thanking her parents in her heart for giving her tall genetics, Aurora stuck out her tongue and licked the silver square, just barely reaching it.

Ugh, she cringed as soon as the tip of her tongue touched it, it was like a mix of soured milk and rotting trash. This must be the flavor Elwin picked.

The locker swung open, and Aurora was delighted to see a pile of clean, thick volumes sitting quietly in a corner, as though waiting for her to read them. There was also a white timetable written in golden letters which was probably her schedule.

"Hmmm, I have Elementalism next..." Aurora muttered under her breath, scanning through the schedule briefly.

She then looked up to her books. "Elementalism, elementalism. Aha."

Pulling out the leather-bound book from the stack, she checked the schedule again. Before lunch, she had elementalism and alchemy, and after lunch she had physical education and ability-detecting.
