Tam POV:
"So kids, how was school today?" As soon as Tam saw his twin daughters walk out of Foxfire, he knelt down and asked.
"It was..." Aurora didn't get to finish the sentence, "absolutely HORRENDOUS!" Piper cut in, huffing and folding her arms.
"Why? Did Keefe's kid do something to you? I swear, I'm gonna kill him!" Tam glared into the distance, whatever that brat did to his daughter, he was getting revenge.
Piper suddenly went very red and her cheeks flushed. "Uhhh..." She pulled Tam close and whispered something into his ear.
"What? That stupid Ace ignored you and flirted with Aurora?" Tam almost yelled in fury and horror. He then turned and put his hands on Aurora's shoulders.
"Listen, Rora. Whatever ROMANTIC INTEREST that Ace had shown, you WILL NOT DATE HIM. I WILL NOT ALLOW A KID OF KEEFE TO BE MY SON-IN-LAW!!" Tam roared, although half of it was joking.
"Hey, dad. Chill. Ace just showed me the way to orientation. He didn't flirt or anything." Aurora raised her hands defensively and backed away.
"Yeah, toootally. Did you see him? He was winking and smirking at you. And don't even get me started on when he called you PRETTY." Piper argued.
"Can we talk about something else? Anyways, dad, where's mom?" Aurora looked around but couldn't see the brunette.
"Right here." Biana glimmered into sight in front of the twins. "Did I hear something about crushes?"
The three shook their heads in unison.
"Okaaay, I'm not an Empath, but I can sense some serious tension going on here. FYI, I definitely did not hear your conversation 'cause I was putting on makeup at home." Biana flashed a vibrant smile, "Now what do you have to tell me?"
"Ugh, Mom, can we please not have this conversation?" Aurora sighed and face-palmed herself.
"Let's make things simple for you, B. It all began with Rora and Pipe meeting Keefe and Sophie's kid in the hallways." Tam cut in before his wife could respond, and began explaining the story, but with very, ahem, exaggerated details.
Well, to say exaggerated was an understatement.
When Tam was done, Biana had this adorable look on her face, mischief and surprise and something else that usually meant that she was going to have a veryyy long talk about boys, probably with Aurora.
"Awww, how sweet! How about this, we invite Keefe and Sophie over for a sleepover tonight, and Pipe and you can have a sleepover at their house! Adults and kids separate! I'll ask Aunt Maruca to take care of you at their house, okay? (totally not being irresponsible parent here) Then you can have some alone time with Ace! Maybe bond over mallowmelt and watch a nice little movie..." Biana batted her eyelashes playfully at Aurora.
"Yess! I can't wait to meet Zara!" Piper jumped up and down in joy. Zara was the younger of Sophie and Keefe's children, and would be attending Foxfire the following year.
"Fine, but we have homework to do. FYI, Mom, I do NOT want to have alone time with Ace, okay? I do NOT have a crush on him." Aurora looked like she wanted to face-palm herself again.
"Keep telling yourself that. Let's go home." Biana held her crystal to the light as they leapt home.

Biana POV:
"Time to make custard bursts!" After the twins were done with their work, Biana sang, displaying a magnificent spread of ingredients on their large kitchen table. (although the twins are not eating the desserts they're helping out)
As she waited for her daughters to come down, Biana smiled fondly as she remembered of how much her best friend Sophie loved custard bursts--she'll get a chance to try it again today.
"Custard bursts! Mom, can we make 20 for each flavour? I bet Zara would love to eat every single one of them!" Piper beamed.
"Of course, let's start." Biana said as she pulled her long hair back into a ponytail with a pink and purple hair scrunchie and put on an apron saying "Sparkles Rule!" That was her favourite quote, sparkles makes everything better!
Soon, the three were done with the flavours-- lushberry, chocolate, butterscotch, and of course, Biana's favourite flavour, raspberry! They were all done with the preparations but then forgot one extremely important thing-- whether the friends were even able to come over!
Biana immediately pulled out her imparter and said, "Sophie Foster." Her best friend's face then appeared on the screen.
"Hey, B. What's up?" Sophie asked, smiling.
"Hey, Soph. Do you wanna come over with Keefe?" Biana asked, waving happily.
"Alright. I'll be here in..." Checking the time, Sophie replied, "30 minutes. We'll prepare and stuff. I can't wait! TTYL! Bye! I'll tell Keefe!" She was about to hang up but Biana stopped her.
"Actually, I have a favour to ask, Soph, if it's fine with you. Is it okay if the kids have a sleepover at your house? I already asked Maruca if she could supervise a little, and she agreed. They should have some fun too!" Biana asked her friend.
Sophie nodded, "Sure! I'll bake some desserts for them and organise the house a little. Can Aurora and Piper come over in 15 minutes?"
Biana agreed, and they hung up to make separate preparations of their own.
(<3)
Soon, Sophie and Keefe were here, and Aurora and Piper were at Sophie's house with Zara and Ace.
"Soph!" Biana ran over as soon as she saw the blonde, hugging her tightly.
"Hey Bangs Boy, miss me?" Keefe flashed his trademark smirk at Tam.
"Not really, Hunkyhair." Tam seemed to melt out of the shadows (or maybe he did), saying with a slight smile on his face.
"You ready for a sleepless night of teasing on your hair?" Keefe challenged.
"Bring it on." Tam said confidently.
Aurora POV (at Sophie's house)
"Put a little bit of mascara here and some blush over here...perfect!" As Aurora watched Zara turn herself into an elf model, she wondered how Zara did it.
How Zara always managed to make everyone feel at ease and make the atmosphere fun and lively. She couldn't do it.
But this wasn't the time to talk about this.
This was supposed to be a fun girls night when everyone goofed out, played Truth or Dare and did makeovers.
"Done! Aurora, you're so pretty!" Zara exclaimed as she pulled Aurora towards a large standing mirror in the guest bedroom. When Zara's fingers laced with Aurora's, she felt a weird tingling sensation, then a torrent of emotions poured towards her. Ecstasy, joy, and SO MUCH ENERGY!! What was happening?? The emotions built up and up in Aurora's heart, until she could take it no more. Aurora burst out in hysterical laughter, clutching her sides.
"Aurora! Um...what's going on?" Zara blinked her large blue eyes at Aurora, confused.
Aurora looked up, "Zara, call-call my mom. Please, quick!"
Zara nodded swiftly and grabbed Aurora's Imparter, hailing Biana.
"Hey, Zara. What's the matter?" Biana answered immediately, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Aunt Biana, it's Aurora! Please come to our house ASAP!" Zara turned the Imparter screen towards Aurora.
Biana took a look at Aurora, and nodded, hanging up.
Soon, Biana was here in the bedroom. She knelt down beside Aurora, brushing her sweaty bangs out of her eyes gently.
"Mom, what's happening?" Aurora managed to choke out.
Her mother paused for a moment, studying her. Then, she clapped her hands together.
"Looks like I need to get Keefe."
